Protech VSC Matrix Warranty Solutions Inc They talked a good game and convinced me I needed an extended warranty for my car. Took $150 on deposit. Gone with my money St. Peters Missouri
This all started on 8/06/2018 when I received a call on my cell phone. They didn't really introduce themselves as the company in question; they only went on about being an extended warranty provider for my 2012 Toyota Rav4. They talked about the service and how it worked and if after receiving the information, If I wasn't satisfied I could cancel within the 30 days of purchase. So they talked me into it. They requested a deposit of $150. When I received my contract I noticed it had the incorrect VIN# than that to my car. They never asked for that information while having me on the phone. So to start off with this contract was no good to me.
I contacted them several times requesting to cancel and they just kept trying to convenience me that I needed this. The female said she would get a manager on the phone. At that time a male got on the phone and asked what my issue was and what could he help me with. I told him the same thing, "I wanted to cancel". He then told me the directions of cancelling the contract, which was mailing in all the documents sent with a written letter stating your intentions. I sent a letter and all documents on 8/28/2018 by certified mail. It had showed to deliver by 8/31/2018. About the first week in September I called about this cancelation once again. They denied receiving anything and I said but my tracking number says it was. She asked, " who's named signed for it"? I said, "it only says, Left with individual". She insisted that a name would have to be present if someone signed for it. I knew I wasn't getting anywhere so I told her I would try and find out and call back.
When I went to my local USPS they said it was indeed delivered and printed out the delivery intinerary and the signature was just a scribble of multiple W's. No defined name was legible. So I tried this again. I resent the origional letter, a new letter and a copy of the copies I made from the original contract and mailed it on 9/06/2018. The tracking says it was delivered today, 9/10/2018. I have been calling the original phone number 888-576-0808 as well as the other number I found online (888-228-6565) and get no answer now. It just rings and rings and rings. This company is a SCAM and needs to be shut down and made to reinburse people they have stolen from.
