Public Storage lying, deceptive, sneeky ripoff Las Vegas Nevada
We rented a stroage in 04/05, paying 199.00 a month. We were loyal customers, paying the above amount with no problems. Then in March 2006 we were a couple days late. The people that run the office decited to call our referances, not us to remind us of our late payment.
They called my husband's mother,and notified her that someone was messing with our storage.(which was untrue,if anyone was messing with the storage it was them). My husband's mother has health problems, and called us crying and upset.
My husband then went into the office to confrunt the workers. The workers stated that they did call, and it worked, because my husband was threr to pay. Unsavory tactics, that are manipulative and dishonest. So we decited to move the storage. One the day that my husband moved the storage, we rented a uhaul. While backing up, one of the storage employees decited to drive their golf cart behind the uhaul, a near miss accident.
My husband was going no more than 4mph. The stated mph. is posted for 5mph. My husband and the employee then had words. When he got to the gate, and entered his coad, the gate wouldn't open. They had locked his coad, so that he couldnt leave. My husband then went into the office, and had more words, more like a shouting match, and they decited to unlock his coad.
I would never recomend this paticular Public Storage.

What happened to you I know is against the rules that people sign when they agree to manage one.
