This is not the pharmacist fault. If you felt the charge was unjustified why did pay for it? Quinine sulfate has become extremely hard to get for various reasons. Why are paying cash, why isn't wellcare paying for it?? This is also over the counter in a different strengths the other stores gave you the OTC price. Which is actually $3.49 at Publix. The pharmacist has no control over what you are charged and it is extremely rude to mention her full name, how would you feel? You need to call your insurance and fins why they aren't paying for it first- or if this is your copay. If it was a mistake on Publix part you have to options- apologize to the pharmacist and have her submit the claim to the insurance again or mail your receipt to the insurance company for a reimbursement. Please remember that humans work behind that counter and we do not want to overcharge you anymore than you want to be overcharged.
