At the tender age of 16, Joseph Collins landed his first break in the television industry after earning a coveted internship in the Research and Development Department at WVTV in Milwaukee, WI.  Determined to maximize this wonderful opportunity, he diligently participated in all aspects of the television station operations by performing varies tasks - from working behind the camera, to being a runner.

It was through such intense determination and dedication that Mr. Collins gained the favor and respect of his superiors, and was thereby granted the

opportunity to host the Morning Business Report show during his summer break; thus becoming the youngest news reporter in the nation.  Allowed to

display his expertise and business acumen, Mr. Collins shined as he brought a new and exciting perspective to the business news.  After his experience

ended with WVTV Milwaukee, he began his quest of seeking out any production company that would allow him on the set.

With his new found experience, Mr. Collins quickly became interested in tackling productions from a new perspective - music video production.   As his thirst for this industry increased, he eagerly sought out to manage all aspects, and began not only producing music videos, but meeting with top executives, raising corporate funds, managing production staff, incorporating major celebrities, and creating distribution outlets for his videos.  After mastering the art of music video production, he produced and directed more than 200 videos and quickly became known throughout the industry for his excellence in production.

Mr. Collins’ success afforded him the opportunity to pilot an original video show, Video Force, which was unlike any other TV show of its kind.  The basis of the show was to spotlight videos from independent and major artists, in a way that made it easy for viewers to become exposed to their music.  The show was asuccess, and Mr. Collins quickly claimed the interest of viewers by the masses.  In order to secure the show's success, he became the liaison between the video show and the music industry by coordinating with both independent and major music labels such as Universal, Quality Records, and Ferocious Records, for the purpose of obtaining the necessary content he decided to display on cable television.  As Mr. Collins‘ reputation in the industry greatly increased, he was able to gain the attention, trust, and respect of music industry giant Cashbox - a weekly publication magazine that reported the popularity of chart ranking music.  Mr. Collins was able to gather statistical information on his videos, and discovered that the numbers were staggering.  After compiling all statistical information, he took Southern California by storm when he began forming business relationships with cable providers in order to reach the masses.  His method was simple - he knocked on the door of every cable provider and stated his mission.

Mr. Collins’ ambition would not allow him to stop with just a music video show, and his peaking interests propelled him into the industry of commercial

production.  He rapidly became one of the most respected commercial producers in the industry by working with such brands as Karl Kani and Toyota, and producing numerous Public Service Announcements (PSAs) for various non-profit organizations.

After much success in multiple industries, Mr. Collins was ready for his next huge undertaking - his own company: Collins Entertainment.  The focus of this production company was to develop new and existing artists.  Mr. Collins’ approach was to custom-tailor marketing strategies for each individual artist by dissecting their brand, pinpointing an area of opportunity, and applying the appropriate strategy to expand their targeted audience.  As each marketing strategy included commercial packaging with sponsorship opportunities, it was unlike any other marketing campaign offered by his competitors.

Due to Mr. Collins’ expertise in cross-marketing and re-branding, Collins Entertainment gained the ability to incorporate corporate sponsorships, thereby diversifying its client base to reach a wider audience.  Mr. Collins soon realized the importance of diversity within the entertainment industry, and began expanding his clientele to include high caliber clients such as athletes, musicians, and public figures.

As a trailblazer in the realm of business and the world of entertainment, Mr. Collins was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the California Legislative

Assembly in 1996.  He also won numerous other awards, and was most notably recognized by United States Senator Dianne Feinstein, who congratulated him on his excellence in entrepreneurship, superior leadership, dedication, and perseverance.

After accomplishing many of his goals, Mr. Collins continued on the path to success by developing a show dedicated to martial arts news - Martial Arts TV. The show was a major success and was aired on over 238 television stations across the country.  The creation of Martial Arts TV allowed Mr. Collins to acquire the knowledge relating to self-syndication, and established the show as the nation's number one Martial Arts News show to date.

Numerous individuals in the entertainment industry have inspired and influenced Mr. Collins, as well as assisted him with pursuing his dream of owning

and operating his own successful television network. Individuals such as J.W. Witt (former CEO of WVTV in Milwaukee, Wisconsin), William Paley

(founder of CBS) Michael Eisner (former CEO of Disney), John Malone (former CEO of TCI), Robert Johnson (Founder of BET), and industry trailblazer Ted Turner (Founder of CNN), paved the way for Mr. Collins to not only pursue his dream, but to make that dream a reality.

Mr. Collins is now the Founder and CEO of Punch TV, which is best known for its original and creative programming that appeals to a diverse audience.

The network is the first of its kind to launch with 70% original content, and to offer transmedia advertising to its sponsors.  Punch TV has become one of the fastest growing networks in the nation, and is viewed in millions of homes across the nation.

With the creation and production of hundreds of television commercials, and countless television shows to his credit, Joseph Collins has received extensive praise and recognition for being a phenomenal leader and visionary.  He is consistently proactive within the community, and prides himself on giving back by donating his time and resources.
