Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Saw the timeshare presentation at this resort. We already owned a timeshare and thus were somewhat knowledgeable about the process. They promised us different things we could get with this timeshare that we didn't have with our first one. "points could get us flights" "no exchange fees" "no membership fees" ect. we were skeptical. The only reason we decided to buy is that they promised to sell our old timeshare for a large amount of money. They set us up with a company they recommended for timeshare sales that cost $900 and they promised a return in 180days. 1 year later I still own 2 timeshares and all I get from this company is the run around with emails and phone. "2 weeks later" closing date. Every two weeks since the expiration of the 180 day contract. All the buyers "fall through" "have no funds" ect. With $900 spent I still have no sale of my old timeshare and am still paying the fees for it.

Punta Pacifico promised we could use our points for flights. The agency they work with is HSI, who informs me once i'm home from this sale that they do not trade points for flights. In stead you can trade your points for your maintenace fee and use that money to pay for your flights. (which is pennys). They said no exchange fees. We tried to clarify as we have exchange fees with RCI the company with our other timeshare and they assured us we would save this cost with them as they dont' have any. Also false. exchange fees always when not using your home resort. We were told there were no annual fees. However we must pay HSI yearly to be able to use their exchange program which is the only reason we buy timeshares-which we told the sales person that flat out lied about the exchange fee and membership fees for HSI. We tried to not sign on the line about the HSI fees, but they made us and said the "addendum" in our paperwork would off set this. This is not the case.

Do not ever visit this resort and absolutely do not buy a timeshare from them or think that they will sell your old one as they will not.

I've spent a lot of money and i was scammed by other companies trying to cancel my timeshare. My advice is that if you're going to hire a company to help you with the problem, DO NOT PAY ANYTHING UPFRONT, because it use to be a fraud. I did a research on internet and i found some interesting articles, i recommend you to read this one:
