After repeated players complaining about the rediculous hands being dealt on a continuing basis, I decided to address the issue myself and did my homework. The odds are litterally impossible for cards to fall the way they do at pureplay. When questioned about it , they give the same generic repetitive pre-written response to everyone. They got angry insisting their random number generator is infallible, and have blocked access to my account which is supposed to be good til December 2008.

Here is the method of their scam. It is set up intentionally by one or more geniuses, so that their profit margin is largest. Pureplay benefits by arranging the hands so that everybody wants to go all-in with the cards that have, and therefore with horrible suckouts CONSTANTLY occurring skill becomes much less relevant and luck of the draw of the pre-arranged hand prevails.

The reason for this is the majority of new players (who are fish- unexperienced and playing because there is no risk -would be easily beaten by patience and proper application of the odds) If it were fair they would loose and not renew their account. The best players

would be winning most often , much like the WSOP, and after a months of not winning the fish will cancel their

membership. Hence the people who would renew their account and continue paying the 20 a month would be the ones who win regularly....just like real life poker. Much fewer number of players . This equals much less revenue for pureplay .Renewed accounts numbers way down. However, the playing field can be leveled to prevent this fact of nature from occurring. Lots of fish

winning and renewing their account results in more money for Pureplay

It is a scam ,and the random number generator, along with the companies certifying its authentisity are at the root.

I hope to see them bankrupt and in jail for the fraud they have perpetuated on the public. I have many detailed correspondences noting their blatent position and arrogance.

PurePlay Tonight

#2Consumer Comment

Tue, December 08, 2009

I have to agree with Ken. Playing in several toruneys tonight. First one was three all in ahead of me and I have KK. I call and hands are Q10 offsuit, J4 offsuit and 92 suited. Flop has a nine and the river ends up with a 2.

Next toruney, pocket AA first hand on small blind. Raise to 510 and get three callers. Flop comes Q62 rainbow. Move all in and get one caller who has Q6 suited. Hits a magical six on the river.

I know bad beats happen I play a lot of live and online. But this seems to be happening more and more with Pureplay and I have only been playing with them about three weeks.

So, sure it could just be the luck but with the name PurePlay it is definitely not attracting the caliber of players I thought would be here. I am cancelling tonight.

Stick to the basic.

It seems true to me that the card generator is really bad at pureplay

You might as well play any random 2 hole cards at pureplay. Winning hands defy all odds. The only possible exception seems to be AA or KK. If you do good money management, kind of like playing BlackJack, you have the best chance of winning there. I think the random number generator is biased to encourage people to stay in the pot as long as possible. What pureplay's motivation is for using a totally ridiculous RNG, I cannot say. Pokerstars seems to have the most legitimate RNG.

Your the Fish Rebuttal

#7Author of original report

You have to ask yourself why any poker player would defend the guilty party. The comment insulting me and calling me the fish is likely placed here by a person with a vested interest. The author is a liar and -not knowing me at all -of very little integrity. The fact is I have an excellent winning record, not only online, but at the casinos as well. At no point in my writing did I state that I had not won. I am hundreds of dollars ahead online, placed in the top 92% in the final for the seat at the world series of poker , and have already won the semi-final to play the final again on the 27th of April 2008. I also recently won over $1400 in a 1 and 2 dollar blind no limit limit Texas Holdem game at the Grand. Texas Holdem is a unique and well loved game by the pros for this reason..you have the best ability of any and ALL poker games to see what the odds are. The odds are determined by what cards can be seen, how many cards are left to come, how many outs you have, what the best possible hand is, and the pot odds. I dont go all-in pre-flop and did not refer to this at all. In the long run, the odds never lie. If you bet on something that is 100 to 1 odds against you (like picking a number from 1 to 100) - the odds say that approximately 1 out of a hundred times you will win that bet. After 1,000,000 bets the odds will consistantly be very close to 1% wins. That is why odds are figured by every casino. Their profit margin depends on the odds, and they always level out in the end. My comments are simply telling the truth that the odds are not consistant with the way the cards fall on pureplay....and I would love to play the jerk calling me the fish for real cash not just online, but in a casino...and if he is very good we might just do that. I dont need to prove my poker ability..it is already an established fact. What does need to be verified though is the reason for the inconsistancy of the odds being continually defied. If you want to see the truth, do some math on what the odds are of the rediculous suckouts which repeatedly occur. Assuming I am incapable of understanding algorithims and the complexities of the random number generator wont change the fact that hundreds of thousands of documented hands defy the true odds. I have Emails saved from Pureplay admitting they have much higher rate of suckout. I am just another person who is reporting this falicy. The human brain is underestimated if you think that it cant pick up on these oddities. How fast is the human brain? "The best answer for this question can be obtained because we have good estimates for the three main variables that enter into it: how many neurons (brain cells) we have, how fast a neuron can fire, and how many cells it connects to. A human being has about 100 billion brain cells. Although different neurons fire at different speeds, as a rough estimate it is reasonable to estimate that a neuron can fire about once every 5 milliseconds, or about 200 times a second. The number of cells each neuron is connected to also varies, but as a rough estimate it is reasonable to say that each neuron connects to 1000 other neurons- so every time a neuron fires, about 1000 other neurons get information about that firing. If we multiply all this out we get 100 billion neurons X 200 firings per second X 1000 connections per firing = 20 million billion calculations per second. " "Parallel processing is the ability of the brain to simultaneously process incoming stimuli. This becomes most important in vision, as the brain divides what it sees into four components: color, motion, form, and depth. These are individually analysed and then compared to stored memories, which helps the brain identify what you are viewing. The brain then combines all of these into one image that you see and comprehend. This is a continual and seamless operation. The advantage of parallel processing is that it allows the brain to simultaneously identify different stimuli and allow for quick and decisive action. This is one of the reasons that the human brain is much more powerful than the computer." These are quotes from Albert Einstein "Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction." "Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal." "The whole of science is nothing more than a refinement of everyday thinking." I love to play poker online, have an extra icome as a result of it , and would hate to see it shut down for fraud. However a fair game is manditory for me to win more.

YOUR THE FISH

Looks to me like your just another unhappy fish who cries when you lose online. Bad beats happen every day all day in LIVE poker as well. Every losing online player blames the RNG or that the site rigs the cards. Rigging a RNG to pull specific cards is vertually impossible. You obviously know nothing of the algorithms nessessary to create a RNG so i wont make any attempt. If you want to stop losing online...stop going all in pre flop. When your all in pre flop you leave yourself at the mercy of the game. Especially if there is more than one player all in at a time. Plain and simple your a poker idiot. Come find me at Full Tilt and il beat you there too. Then you can blame there RNG and programmers instead of you bad play. WHAHWHAHWHAH
