As I suspected, though Erwin Products check has long since cleared our bank, they have not seen fit to update their report to indicate that they have been paid in full, preferring instead to attempt to leave our reputation marked with their complaint. I believe that their refusal to update this report to indicate its resolution only reiterates the points made in my initial rebuttal. Thank you for your time and consideration in reading this rebuttal.

We did purchase the "Cord Door", to our regret. Before purchasing, we were promised exclusivity in our area, ad links on a website, and a good product at a competitive price. We received this product and found that it was of a somewhat lesser quality than promised, but had decided to include them in our enclosures as a convenience, free addition. Imagine our surprise, however, when we found that our "exclusive" in this area did not take into consideration that this "wholesaler" is selling the identical product on E-Bay, for far less money than we even were paying, under a screen name with no relationship to his company. He has set himself up to compete wtih the very people he is marketing his item to, since he can always undercut you after your purchase on E-Bay. I did not believe this at first, so I went on E-Bay and requested further information. It was completely confirmed through the email response I received from him. I do not have a problem with someone competing with us; we have been in business for 30 years, and will be for many more to come. I do, however, have a problem with someone making promises to a customer regarding the marketing of a product, and then underhandedly using other outlets. Mr. K---- should have been up front and honest about how he markets his product, and he was not. We have forwarded a check to Erwin Products, made payable to them, not to Mr. K--- personally as he requested. As we purchased from Erwin Products, that is who we will pay. I would, however, suggest that any middle man purchasing from Mr. K--- or Erwin Products be very aware that he has and will set himself up to directly compete with you on the sale of his own product. I also will question Mr. K---'s honesty if he does not update this record with acknowledgement of the receipt of his check. I believe I have, however, already addressed his business tatics.
