Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I found a work at home job called ameriplan. I signed up for it, and was told it was $19.95. I was charged $69.95. I was then given the training website, and there I had to put in a password that unlocked the website. I followed all the instructions, and found I had to sign up for a free web domain. I was then directed to get a free tolllfree number. My checking statement shows there is a pending transaction on it, and I can't stop it. It was from COA network, 1-800-454-5930. They are connected to the work from home program, and you can not finish or start the program without COA.

You are misleading people. Your statements don't ring true!

As a Broker, you do pay the $19.95 "once a year" - when you join and on your yearly anniversary.   You DO need to chose from one of the 3 Platinum Levels which determines your commission - and this is due monthly. This is ALL explained during the interview process.  I am very clear with everyone I talk to about the cost of each level and the commissions earned with each level.

I know so many people are of the belief that if you have to pay to work for someone - it's a scam.

And you are absolutley correct!!!

However, you are not paying to work for someone with Ameriplan.  You are starting YOUR OWN BUSINESS, with all the perks that come with being a business owner...  ANY business that you start is going to require an investment; whether you clean houses, do pet sitting, open a day care - ANYTHING! This is a real opportunity to set your own hours, make your own schedule, and be your own boss.

Isn't your life and your financial freedom something you should have complete control over?  Mine sure was...

COA is system we use for Autoresponders, Landing Pages, etc.  It is TOTALLY OPTIONAL and is not required to run your Ameriplan Business.  It is a GREAT tool that I do highly recommend, however, because it does so much of your work for you - but you don't have to use it.   I have a few IBOs on my team who don't use the COA program at all.  They prefer to take the extra time each day to send out emails individually, and use their email account to keep track of everyone. And in fact, a couple of them are thinking about getting it because they are finding this method very time consuming.  I let the COA System do the work for me. It saves me a TON of time and it's just amazing!  You also get a 30 day free trial to see if you want to implement it into your business.  And once you have referred just 3 people to the system, and they have surpassed their 30 day free trial, it becomes free for you from that point on.  I haven't had to pay anything for my COA in over 6 months!!!  I have never heard of anyone ever having a problem canceling it either.

I have been with Ameriplan for awhile now, I'm a Regional Sales Director - and I have never had so much as one problem.  I get my checks on time for every piece of business I add - usually within 3-5 days.  And my monthly residual income has always been "Dead On Correct".   Not only that, but I have used several of the services that come with my Platinum Freedom Pass, and have saved a TON of money.

I think that the people who complain about Ameriplan are the ones who either didn't understand or listen to what was being presented to them, or aren't motivated enough to be their own boss. You have to set a daily schedule and work your business as if you were sitting in an office somewhere being paid to work for someone else.  Your boss would set you a schedule to follow, and you would follow it.

The only difference here is YOU are your boss.  You have to make yourself a work schedule and DO IT! If you can't follow your own directions - who can???

You can't just sign up and then expect money to fall from the sky.  This is a business that you have to BUILD. You will not get rich overnight, and you wouldn't with any other REAL business that you start either. If you continue to add business to your books on a daily, weekly, monthy basis - you will be able to earn a great income.

Ameri-Plan / COA Network Exaplanation:

It is important to understand that COA Network is NOT Ameri-Plan. Ameri-Plan (The Freedom at Home Team) is an organization that has contracted COA to design and provide their individual work from home members with a website management software to aid in running their business. We offer a Pro Service at $17.95 per month, that is just the website management as well as a Premiere service for $36.95 per month that includes a toll free number. It is impossible to say why this person was charged $69.95 without having the information to view their account. It sounds like whoever their up-line was that recruited them into the Ameri-Plan business did not give them the proper information and explain that COA Network is a completely separate company. If this person contacted us we could have gone over all of this and explained this in detail as well as clarify the charges in question. Again...Without the account to view it's impossible to say why they were charged that amount. COA Network has been in business for over 20 years, we are a member of the BBB and pride ourselves on providing the best product and customer service possible.

It is amazing to me how people comment on things they do not understand.

Ameriplan does have an A+ rating with the BBB (I just looked).

Ameriplan in NOT Accredited with the BBB, which is a company who PAYS the BBB. So therefore, Ameriplan got it's rating based soley on their business practices, not because they PAID for a rating!!!

JUST TO SET THE RECORD RIGHT!

They are always scams so always research before submitting account info. On thier site for example they claim an  A+ rating with the BBB (even though that can be bought and means nothing) nonetheless if you google this company you will find they actually have an F rating with the BBB so already busted in a lie.

As well you have to always read fine print. I am 100% sure if you do you will find you inadvertantly did authorize the amount they took out and they may have used deception granted but might have still been "legal" leaving you no recourse. Might want to inform your states AG and the FTC for good measure but niether can get your money back. The most likely way to get anything back is if you can convince your bank/CC you were scammed and have them reverse the charges.

Another bit of news I found by a simple online search is they are an "MLM" (mulit level marketing) company also a HUGE GIANT red light and some are not even too legal or just barely. This was a mistake on your part so may have to chock it up as a life lesson and use better judgement in the future since no one out there wants to cover others financial mistakes. Good news is at least it was not too much money...many people lose thousands to similar companies.
