Quality Auto Sound sales rep tried to charge me $70 just to see what kind of alarm I already had in my car... It gets worse! Lakewood Colorado
when trying to get a new remote for the alarm I already had in my car I went to "Quality" Auto Sound on west Colfax in Lakewood, Colorado. The salesboy there wanted to charge me $70 for every little thing he could think of, EXAMPLES... figure out what kind of alarm I already had in my car, lookup the replacement remote, disconnect the alarm all together, take out the old alarm completely... on & on he went thinking he's speaking to some idiot. When everything he priced for me was $70 for each and every little service I knew that he was full of it!!! Adding all his things together costed more than a completely new alarm.
Little did he know That I was looking for somebody to do lot$ of custom work on many cars of mine.... After looking at him like he was crazy I walked out. Not only did they miss out on a huge business opportunity, they also lost the trust of everybody who uses Rip off Report.
Shady sales punks should think twice before trying to nickel & dime you to death. They could be spitting on the wrong persons feet!!! As a small business owner and a car enthusiast I encourage people to shop before you drop... Mad Cash that is!!! Down with shady mechanics and sales punks who assume everybody coming to them hasn't a clue about there CAR$... even if people don't know anything about there own cars Karma is Quick! people will soon find out that your a rip off and your sales floor will get even more vacant than it was yesterday... basically empty!!! Empty show floors are a bad sign for obvious reason$.
