Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In January, 2001 I bought a CD called Once Upon a Song from a company on-line.

Recently I notice a small sum added to my debt card every month and could not figure out what it was for. I called my bank and they gave me the name and number of the company and told me I have been charged the same amount for about a year and a half (the sum was so small [8.95] I didn't really pay attention to it).

I called the company and was told that they got my credit card number when I ordered a CD (Once Upon a Song) and then proceeded to send me junk mail that was suppose to be returned otherwise I was a member and willing to pay the sum monthly.

I tried to explain to the representative RON at desk 370, phone number (800) 527-1656 that I never authorized or received anything from his company and he persisted in telling me it was my responsibility as the consumer to have sent back the papers they sent me.

I told him I wasn't a consumer as I had never even heard about their company let alone authorized them to use my credit card for a membership in a non-existent whatever!!!

After arguing for 20 minutes, he offered me 6 months credit I told him I would take it, but in no way did that mean I was settling this with him.

Going to ripoff. com I now realize that this company is known for this and they keep the sums small so people who don't read every statement won't notice their charge.

This is the beginning of the end for them. I am going to the news, shame on you and I am trying to contact someone about internet fraud.
