Pattie,
I am a Boston attorney whose practices focused on civil litigation. I am investigating whether Quibids may have violated Massachusetts laws that prohibit deceitful trade practices, unlicensed auctions, and/or unlicensed gaming activities. I would like to learn more about your experience. Please call me at 617-630-2050. Thank you.

There is some indication they are being addressed by the courts.
In the meantime I'd recommend people do not send them any money.

See every employee talks about a lag and thinking that talking technical may work on some people. I work technical for internet I know the difference betweeen a lag, and what is just not right. This video shows it counting down from 10 all the way to 1 with me winning. THen stopping at one. On the video I have time to show what the product was, the people bidding against, the price it was freezing on, the bids it was still taking from me even know it wasn't actually doing anything. I have a video over 2 minutes long. That is no lag. I was also told by an employee that Google Chrome is needed if I didn't want it to lag even more in the video it also shows that I was using Google Chrome. There is no way to explain why I didn't win so finally an employee said I didn't win and there is nothing anyone can do. I asked them to explain the video but nothing was done.
This is the Truth

This Quibid Emplyee is an Internet Liar and uses the justification of a technical issue to substantiate a claim that they somehow did not scam the individual mentioned
The employee who obviously does not want to lose his job will of course speak positively about an establishment that has therefore acted negatively.
This employee should only be seen as a liar and is a reflection of the company that is just the same!

I'm sorry to hear about that experience. Real quick, I would like to clarify that every bid is just $0.60, not $60. Regarding your situation, QuiBids has a very sophisticated system that minimizes lag and optimizes performance for our customers. However, because of inherent limitations with how the internet works, sometimes lag does occur on auctions. This is a rare occurrence, but because it can occur we must rely on our terms and conditions to clarify the procedures if there are issues with auctions. In the terms and conditions it states [look up the real verbiage] that the winning bid is determined by what the QuiBids database servers determine is the last bid. We care strongly about our customers having a great experience on QuiBids, and we apologize for any difficulties that may have happened on this auction.
In instances when this may occur, also know there is always the BuyNow feature that can be utilized. If you would like the BuyNow opened up for that auction, please write in to let us know. We understand your frustration and again, apologize for any inconveniences.
