Quick-Scape Landscaping Kevin Sommer SHODDY Lawn care Brewster, NY NYS
I had Quick-Scape mow & weed whack my property for about 5-6 (?) weeks. They were to mow & weed whack the lawn every week & behind the back fence & along the brook every other week. About 4-5 weeks ago, I told Jacob (mower) that Angelo (weed whacker) is to weed whack behind the fence & along the brook. AND that Angelo has NOT weed whacked back there since they started working for me. Jacob informed me that Angelo had already put the weed whacker on the truck.
POINT: Jacob should have told Angelo, at that time, to get the weed whacker & weed whack where specified. I told Jacob, "OK, next time, make sure Angelo weed whacks behind the fence & along the brook." Jacob is the ONLY one that speaks English. Santo & Angelo do NOT.
Last week, Wednesday 9/12/18, they came to mow & weed whack. They usually do this on Monday but it was raining. I was not home 'cause I was NOT expecting them to come. When I returned home, I saw that they had mowed & weed whacked. I looked behind the fence & it was barely mowed & NOT weed whacked at all...!!!!!
I called Kevin this past Tuesday (I thought it was Monday). He did say they are not mowing tomorrow (Wednesday) but I thought tomorrow was Tuesday. MY BAD. However, I did mention to him that his crew is not doing the job I am paying them for; neglecting to mow & weed whack where specified, etc.
I called Kevin 3 times on Wednesday (9/19/18) to see if I could get his crew to mow Today (Wednesday) or Thursday. Last evening, he facebook PM'd me, telling me they could not make me happy & would not mow my lawn anymore. I could keep the money owed to them from last Wednesday....whoop de doo.... HOW 'BOUT COMING TO FIX THE LOUSY MOW JOB THEY DID LAST WEEK....!!!??? They did this lousy/shoddy job 'cause I was NOT home to watch them. MIND you, it takes them ONLY 15 to 20 minutes to complete the job here.
I did have to correct Santo's mowing around the pool. Santo rolled his eyes at me...very rude. SMH
As a business owner, one would think, Kevin would come see what I am complaining about, attempt to satisfy the customer, etc. I am sure he would agree with me that his crew did a HORRIBLE job.
I took pics today & emailed them to Kevin. I will call him, leave a message for him to see the pics of the shoddy job his crew did.
I am reporting Quick-Scape so others don't fall victim to this crappy work.

PS- I have lived here over 23 years, I should KNOW how my lawn should look. This is the WORST it has ever been...!!!
I'm sure Kevin would NOT want his lawn to look as such.
