Quote Wizard Beware Insurance Agents their leads are worthless Seatttle Washington
I was very upset with Quote Wizard with their Internet insurance leads product and their billing. For those of you who are either new to the insurance sales industry or are just looking for an Internet insurance leads source to supplement your current marketing, stay clear from this company.
They have a variety of leads types to chose from. I started off with the middle of the road auto insurance leads which turned out to be a lot of people with multiple violations, wrong numbers or people who were interested in a quote. I upgraded to their higher cost leads and I saw no difference in the number of leads with bad/fake phone numbers or names.
Although Quote Wizard was good at giving credits for the bad leads, I noticed that most of their leads come from a company called Bankrate and most of these people think they are entering a contest to win an iPad or iPhone. These leads are sold to numerous agents and by the time you call the prospect, at least 10-15 other agents have contacted them. They tell you that the leads are only sold to 4 agents at a time but prospects say otherwise. Also a lot of their leads are several months old. When I talked to many prospects they would tell me they had searched for insurance 2-5 months ago and was either not looking or found something on their own.
Quote Wizard's billing system is atrocious. Whether you are an agent for Allstate, Farmers, State Farm and will bill you through your payroll be careful. They told me they would bill a set amount over the months instead they made one lump sum withdrawal which caused me a severe shortage in my marketing funds. When I called them to complain, they blamed it on a third party billing company. I found out that they did the same thing to numerous other agents in my company.
Avoid this company at all costs. Their leads are aged and their billing is horrible.
