Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I received my Qwest monthly bill for March 2005, and found to my suprise that Qwest added $6.47 to my bill for a one minute DA ASSIST on behalf of TELESEVEN LLC.I did not make any directory assist call as stated in the bill on 3/29/05. I have never heard about this company or its affiliate.

This is a rip- off by Qwest and Teleseven LLC. I spoke with Qwest and they were not interested in documenting any of the events. The Qwest rep told me, "That is the way the system is, and there is nothing we can do about it." This company is stealing money from people who don't pay close attention to their bill. It took me over an hour today to research the issue. Qwest won't take the information over the phone, you have to file a complaint in letter format and send it to:

All of the 3rd party billing companies thru qwest should at least be required to have 24/7 support centers to dispute their claims. What a pain in the @ss! Shame on Qwest!

How to get these types of problems resolved

The issue of the charges showing up on your local phone bill are beyond Qwest control. They are actually to refer you to call the carrier about the charges if you have a dispute. There is always a number for that other carrier there. It says right on your bill that there is no affiltiation between Qwest and the carrier. Qwest is obligated by regulation to allow other carriers to put charges they say are valid for the number on the billing. Believe me, if they did not have to allow the carriers to bill it that way they would not as it generates many calls and upset customers. The best way to resolve these charges are to call the carrier first to see about the charge and dispute it with them. If you cannot get assistance or an adjustment from the carrier call Qwest and tell them you would like them to recourse the charges back to the carrier. Qwest will then remove the charges from your bill and bill back the carrier. However, when Qwest does this it is not a credit. Once it is sent back the carrier can rebill the charge to you on their own seperate billing, but at that point it will not effect your Qwest service.
