QX Telecom Ripoff business that doesnt give a dam Thousand Oaks California
QX Telecom solicited my business through telemarketing. July 24 2002. They promised me a free phone card for signing up and that they would send me an information packet that would inform me on how to use the service and how to cancel it if I was not satisfied. I never received anything from them and the where billing me $59.78 ($239.12 total) a month for something I never received. When I contacted Rolf king form QT Telecom he said they could not refund any money because I had agreed to the service even though he knew I was never able to use it. Here is an email I received from him;
We have gotten the report back and it shows that you have accepted our service back on July 24, 2002. Therefore it was your responsibility to cancel the service if you did not want it. We show that we sent you the card on July 26, 2002. There will be no further refunds issued to you. Your account is canceled so you will not receive any further charges in the future. If you have any further questions please call our customer service number at 1-800-385-1968.
