Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I am in default on an SBA loan. I was contacted by R. D. Cessna. The promise by them was total help on handling all legal and negociated matters. They were to save me money, and allow me to keep my home.I would not have to deal with any legal problems, as Cessna would be representing me.According to Cessna, thier experience with SBA loans would put me in a very advantages position. I paid 950.00 up front. I owed 2500.00 more, but stopped paying when nothing was being done.

At first things seemed to be starting well. I sent a huge amount if information to Cessna, and worked with Todd McKinney on the basics of how things would progress. He advised me on how to handle several early situations, and we developed a rough plan. Then I was told that I woud now be working with Karl Kichner. Things went downhill from there. The advice given by Todd McKinney was put to the side, in favor of Mr Kichners'. Time past and no plan came forward. In the meantime, my SBA lender contacted me, came to my factory to talk, and was very cooperative in trying to reach an agreement with the SBA. He is making a proposal to the SBA that will be in keeping with my dire financial situation. I no longer need help from Cessna, if indeed any was to come.

I have requested a partial refund of 5,000.00. I have actually done what Cessna was supossed to do. Mr. Richard Cessna refused to offer a refund of any amount.

This unfounded complaint was the first Rip off Report complaint filed against the firm in 35 years of participating in SBA related matters encompassing thousands of casses. The complainant's statements are not founded in fact and are defamatory. Our staff devoted a considerable amount of time on this case developing an exhibit file over 2 inches thick. The lender in this case went bankrupt complicating the case. The client asked us, in writing, to slow down our pace so as to benefit from income during tax season as he is a CPA. Due to the false and libalous statements made by the complainant, we have referred the matter to counsel for appropriate disposition.
