Gail Ginsburg a Presbyterian minister, was ordained in a long distance scheme as a "rabbi" and NO movement of Judaism recognizes her as a rabbi. Now she pretends to be a Kabbalist and to run this conversion program. Her understanding of judaism and hebrew is less than any Bar mitzvah boy.

Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg does not disclose his past. This can be very harmful to his students. There have been several complaints to The Rabbinic Assembly that could lead to him being kicked out of the Rabbinic Assembly. Here are some of the articles that describe Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg's sexual abuse case:

Woman sues St. Paul rabbi, temple alleging sexual exploitation

By Paul Gustafson

Star Tribune (St. Paul, MN) - January 22, 2004

www.startribune.com/stories/462/4332508.html

A former female member of the Temple of Aaron in St. Paul charged Wednesday in a lawsuit that Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg sexually exploited her while counseling her for more than two years.

The Maplewood woman alleges that Ginsburg knew that she was an emotionally vulnerable person because he learned while counseling her that she was recently divorced, and had been sexually and emotionally abused in the past.

Philip Villaume, her attorney, said she has been "extremely traumatized" by Ginsburg's conduct, and feels that temple officials "did virtually nothing" when she complained to them.

Betty Sue Lipschultz, the temple's board president, said an investigation of Ginsburg was done after the woman complained about him that "did reveal an error in judgment" by the rabbi.

"We have not stood idly by. . . . We investigated the charges fully, and we took and are continuing to take appropriate remedial steps. The Temple of Aaron is a wonderful, caring congregation, and it cares deeply both about its congregants and its staff," she said.

Ginsburg, who is the temple's senior rabbi, could not be reached for comment.

The suit, filed in Ramsey County District Court, seeks damages in excess of $50,000 for sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and sexual exploitation by a member of the clergy.

Temple of Aaron is also named as a defendant in the suit, which alleges that it failed to supervise Ginsburg properly or take appropriate actions against him.

The woman said she complained to temple officials in May 2002. In June 2002 the congregation received letters from Ginsburg and the temple's board informing it that he had had an inappropriate relationship with a female former congregant. Ginsburg apologized for what he called "an admittedly regrettable incident," according to the suit.

The woman alleged, however, that the letters did not disclose the full scope of Ginsburg's sexual misconduct toward her.

Rabbi, woman settle lawsuit

By Stephen Scott, Religion Editor

Pioneer Press (St. Paul) - June 08, 2004

Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg appears set to resign as senior rabbi at Temple of Aaron, shortly after reaching an out-of-court settlement with a former congregation member who accused him of sexual misconduct. A criminal investigation into the case also is being closed, with no charges forthcoming.

Ginsburg's attorney, Robert Weinstein, said Monday the rabbi has decided to resign after 17 years at the Conservative synagogue in St. Paul's Highland Park.

"Over the past several months he's given a lot of thought of what to do with his future,'' Weinstein said. "I think he was looking for all of this to be concluded.''

Congregation president Phillip Kibort said Monday synagogue officers had not received a notice of resignation, though discussions had taken place with Ginsburg "about the future leadership of Temple of Aaron.''

In a civil suit filed in January in Ramsey County, a Maplewood woman accused Ginsburg of sexual exploitation, intentionally inflicting emotional distress, sexual battery and 12 other charges. The suit claimed sexual contact between the two occurred between December 1999 and April 2002, during which time the woman said she was seeing Ginsburg for counseling.

The suit also named the synagogue, on Mississippi River Boulevard, as a defendant.

Weinstein and Philip G. Villaume, the attorney for the accuser, Linda A. Cohen, each confirmed Monday that a settlement with all parties had been reached. Citing confidentiality agreements, they released no details.

It is still not clear whther or not Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg was having inappropriate sexual relations with Gail Ginsburg at the time when he converted her.

THE KABALA IS A SERIOUS SPIRITUAL STUDY AND THERE IS A LOT MORE TO IT THAN THIS SUGAR-COATED, CATCH PHRASE, DUMBED DOWN, POP CULTURE SLICK MONEY-MAKER FOR THIS "RABBI BERG" WHO SELLS THIS TO CELEBRITIES FOR BIG BUCKS! KABALA AS THIS BERG PERSON PRESENTS IT IS A MONEY-MAKING MACHINE FOR RICH PEOPLE ONLY BUT IT IS NOT THE REAL THING. IT IS MORE THAN A SLICKLY PROMOTED COMMERCIAL PRODUCT AND TRUTH SEEKERS WON'T FIND IT HERE--BUT THEY WILL PAY A LOT$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ YOU WANT REAL KABALA STUDIES, ASK A CHASSIDIC RABBI BUT I THINK THAT STUFF LIKE THE KABALA AND THE TANYA AND OTHER THINGS LIKE THIS ARE BEST LEFT ALONE UNLESS YOU COME FROM A HEREDITARY CHASSIDIC REBBE TRADITION! LAYPEOPLE OF ANY ETHNICITY HAVE NO BUSINESS PLAYING WITH THIS AT THE SUPERFICIAL LEVEL --IT IS NOT FOR DILETTANTES AND CELEBRITY FADS! THIS IS NOT FOR CHRISTIANS TO KNOW. OR ANY OTHER RELIGION. THIS IS SERIOUS THEOSOPHY. THIS IS FOR SERIOUS JEWISH CLERGYMEN SCHOLARS ONLY! I SUSPECT THERE IS ONE VERSION FOR THE PUBLIC AND THE DEEP ESOTERIC MEANING FOR THE SERIOUS RABBINIC SCHOLARS. I THINK THE ONLY LEGITIMATE CONVERSION IS AN ORTHODOX JUDAISM CONVERSION. IT IS THE ONLY ONE RECOGNIZED BY THE STATE OF ISRAEL. I AM NOT AGAINST RABBI GINBERG. HE AND HIS WIFE ARE ENTITLED BY THE FIRST AMENDMENT OF THE US CONSTITUTION TO TEACH WHAT THEY WANT. THERE ARE BASICALLY TWO KINDS OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT SUITS FOR CLERGYMEN IN OPPOSITE SEX SITUATIONS AND THEY BOTH AMOUNT TO EASY MONEY FOR THE PERSON MAKING THE SUIT AND MOST DENOMINATIONS PAY OUT OF COURT SETTLEMENTS TO AVOID SCANDALS... I THINK THE RABBI GOT A BAD RAP BY SOME YENTA WHO WANTED SOME EASY GELD. BUT HE WAS ALSO AT FAULT BY ALLOWING A WOMAN TO BE THERE WITH HIM WITHOUT ANOTHER WOMAN PRESENT! AN ORTHODOX RABBI WOULD NOT LET THIS HAPPEN BECAUSE THE RABBIZIM WOULD HAVE BEEN DOING THE COUNSELING --NOT HIM. ALMOST ANY CLERGYPERSON SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT LAWSUIT GRAVY -- FREE MONEY -- AND NEVER BE ALONE WITH THE OPPOSITE SEX CONGREGANT! THIS IS WHAT RABBIS LEARN IN YESHIVA TODAY --CANTORS TOO. UNLESS IT IS ONE OF THOSE PLACES ONLINE AND WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY TEACH THERE.

Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg sexual Abuse of converts Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg US http://www.convertjudaism.org/ A former member of the Temple of Aaron accused the Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg of sexual exploitation, intentionally inflicting emotional distress, sexual battery and 12 other charges in a lawsuit. The survivor claimed Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg had inappropriate sexual contact with her for three years. The contact took place while Ginsburg was counseling her and serving as a mentor for her rabbinical studies. The survivor stated that Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg knew that she was an emotionally vulnerable person because he learned while counseling her that she was recently divorced and had been sexually and emotionally abused in the past. According to a Pioneer Press article, Ginsburg remained at Temple of Aaron upon the recommendation of the Rabbinical Assembly of Conservative Judaism. June 08, 2004 Rabbi Ginsburg resigned as the senior rabbi at Temple of Aaron, shortly after reaching an out-of-court settlement with a former congregation member who accused him of sexual misconduct. On June 26, 2002, Ginsburg and Temple of Aaron leaders wrote letters to the congregation. Ginsburg apologized "for an admittedly regrettable incident." The synagogue's board of directors said the rabbi "frankly acknowledged his errors in judgment and expressed his profound and deeply felt apologies." Just a few months after leaving the St. Paul synagogue, Rabbi Ginsburg was hired by Ezra Habonim/Niles Township Jewish Congregation in Skokie, IL. Now it appears Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg is telling his favorate jokes and teaching Torah on Youtube.

Dear Rabbi, I want to thank you for posting your videos on how to conduct a Jewish funeral service. My mother recently passed away at my brother's home in Skokie where she had been living these past few years. My brother did not want to use a funeral home or synagogue for a service and I was comfortable having the service in his home. Then I realized that not only was I organizing the whole thing, but that I had little idea what to do, or what to include in the eulogy which I also had to write. I know that mom would be amused that I used the Internet and your YouTube videos to help me send her on her own journey. Many thanks, There are also no words to properly convey the depth of my appreciation to Rabbi Jonathan and Rabbi Gail, yet mere words will have to suffice. Thank you for this gift, for which I can never truly repay you. I will instead repay it by living, loving, and learning Jewishly more each day. Rob Feb 8 2009 Shalom Rabbi, Thanks again for everything. I'll have to admit that it was one of the happiest days of my life. I feel like I am starting over as a new man, a Jewish man who needs to be more responsible to be a light to others, if that makes any sense. Anyway, I made it home safe! Thank you with all my heart! Shalom Aleikhem, Hillel Dear Rabbi I just wanted to send you and Rabbi Gail a short note to say thank you for your guidance and support over the past six months as we went through the conversion process. I didn't know quite what to expect when I arrived in Chicago, but you all made me feel very welcome and included. It was a very moving experience for me (which is probably why I might get the record for taking the longest time to get dressed and reappear after the immersion). It would be impossible for me to probably convey in words how important the event was to me, and what a positive effect it has had, and I believe, will continue to have on my life. I think the work you and Rabbi Gail are doing is of inestimable value to many people, and I wish you both all of the best in these endeavours for the future. If there is any small way I can assist now or in the future, please just let me know. With best wishes Leon from Australia Hi Rabbis I just wanted to check in with you since my conversion back in September. Shalom Toda Raba Dear Rabbi: " I wanted to write to thank you for taking the time to develop and place online the series of videos covering the Jewish tradition, prayer and custom. I want to let you know that your videos I believe are very useful and I find it truly inspiring that -- when you made the videos --you had no idea that they would touch me or any other person, per se, yet you took the time to develop the series and had the foresight to see that people, myself included, would benefit from the series. Thank you. By way of background, I grew up outside of Boston in a Jewish household. I never, ever like Hebrew school and did just about everything I could to avoid or skip it. About six months ago when I was living in Boston, I called my cousin and said "Would you and your wife like to do Shabbat this weekend?" He says back "What do you mean by that?" ... I say, "I mean, I provide the Chullah, you provide the wine." ... About five minutes later he calls me back and says "Pam wants to know if you want to do the candles?" ... I say "It wouldn't be shabbat without them." ... Five minutes later he calls me back and says "Pam wants to know if you are serious." Every week after that, our Shabbat dinner stated to include more and more of the "grandchildren" (my cousins) and what was amazing is that there was no adult standing there telling us we had to do it. Now that I moved to Texas, I am getting involved in the local Temple, and it's really nice to have your refreshers to study and get up to speed. Thanks again and please keep posting new videos. With best wishes Leon Hi Rabbis I just wanted to check in with you since my conversion back in September. I'm so happy and thankful to have taken your online course it was so comprehensive and a great foundation for the start of my Jewish life and learning. Traveling to Skokie from Iowa to visit with you and have the conversion ceremony was very special to me. I hope you and your family are doing well. I'm anxious to continue my Jewish learning. what do you recommend? Mary Testimonials about the work of Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg and Rabbi Gail Ginsburg I just wanted to let you know that if I hadn't told you before that I appreciate all the things that you have done for in my path to Judaism. I wouldn't be where I am at today without your help. I also wanted to tell you that because of that help I will be going to Israel next fall to study at Darche Noam/Shapell's yeshiva. They accepted my application and I will be spending at least a year there. I will be leaving right before Elul. Thank you Rabbi! Mark This is a wonderful approach to conversion and a great deal financially. Thank you. Henry Dear Rabbi Ginsburg, I truly appreciate your words very much. The session are very well done and presented and Rabbi J. Ginsburg has become part of my life, a friend and teacher as I'm constantly watching his outstanding videos about all the different topics. In fact I'm planning to go this year to the States to your congregation to get the chance to meet you both personally. Yeshiva online? Doesn't sound kosher to me and from what line of rebbes does this proprietor of nonsense that purports to be rabbinical teachings come? Sounds like this guy who points to the sky and says that G*d is my board of directors needs to go join the Xtian crackpots on Trinity Broadcasting Corporations loser television programs. I can get ordained as a minister in the Church of Universal Life for FREE, and I can take my $3,000 and get a nice Torah scroll for a shul someplace or pay for a Pesach Seder deluxe for Homeless Jews. I had to question the training this Rabbi had because usually women counsel women and that is how it is. The male rabbi only enters the picture if his opinion is needed concerning a matter of Law. That's how it is. I am wanting to know if they settled this out of court because they had PROOF or because they wanted to cover up allegations that this place didn't know enough about Judaism so they hired a RABBI WITH ONLY MAIL ORDER CREDENTIALS! I STUDIED TO BE A CANTOR WITH A REAL CANTOR, SO MAYBE THEY WOULD HIRE ME. AND I STUDIED WITH A SHOCKET SO I KNOW A LOT ABOUT WHAT IS KOSHER AND WHAT IS NOT... May he will sell me a rabbi certification HALF PRICE?! I ALSO KNOW ENOUGH NOT TO PUT MYSELF ALONE WITH ANYONE FROM THE CONGREGATION -- MALE OR FEMALE BECAUSE OF THE ALLEGED SEXUAL ABUSE ALLEGATION LAWSUIT GRAVY TRAIN! IF THE RABBI IS READING THIS AND I SEE WHERE HE POSTED A RESPONSE, I HOPE HE WILL TAKE MY SUGGESTION AND JOIN A MESSIANIC JEWISH CONGREGATION OR START ONE. THERE ARE SEVERAL WEBSITES AND HE CAN GET A REAL ORDINATION PAPER!THEY REALLY NEED JEWISH LEADERS BECAUSE THE ONES WITH THE XTIAN BACKGROUND ARE TAKING THEIR CONGREGATIONS THE WAY OF THE PROSPERITY GOSPEL. AND NOBODY THERE CARES WHETHER YOU HAVE A SHISKA WIFE OR NOT! I am glad I found out about the scam yeshiva. If I ever decide to return to Judaism and if they ever elect me on the board of trustees again, I will definitely not vote to hire anyone from that fake yeshiva for sure. If they ask why, I will show them this article on Rip Off Report.

Woman sues St. Paul rabbi, temple alleging sexual exploitation

Woman Sues Rabbi and St. Paul Temple for Sexual Misconduct Associated Press - January 22, 2004 http://www.kare11.com/news/news-article.asp?NEWS_ID=58471 http://wcco.com/localnews/local_story_022084010.html A Maplewood woman has sued a rabbi and a St. Paul temple, accusing the rabbi of sexually exploiting her during counseling for more than two years. The woman alleges that Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg knew that she was an emotionally vulnerable person because he learned while counseling her that she was recently divorced, and had been sexually and emotionally abused in the past. The woman's attorney says she has been "extremely traumatized" by Ginsburg's conduct, and feels that officials at the Temple of Aaron "did virtually nothing" when she complained to them. The lawsuit seeks damages in excess of $50,000 for sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and sexual exploitation by a member of the clergy. A temple spokeswoman says an investigation of Ginsburg was done after the woman complained about him that "did reveal an error in judgment" by the rabbi. She says the temple took the charge seriously and has taken appropriate remedial steps. The lawsuit alleges that the temple failed to supervise Ginsburg, the temple's senior rabbi, properly or take appropriate actions against him.

I would like to see Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg held accountable. I do not hate him, nor do I want for him to suffer as we have... I doubt that he could survive it. "Justice" though... would be having him removed from his rabbinical duties where he is a danger to others. Now everybody knows the truth

Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg paying his way out of the sexual abuse

Off course that Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg paying his way out of the sexual abuse lawsuit and Ginsburg apologized 'for an admittedly regrettable incident.' The synagogue's board of directors said the rabbi 'frankly acknowledged his errors in judgment and expressed his profound and deeply felt apologies.' that sounds like he is guilty to me, or the rest of us normal people!!! The alleged predator had to resign from his job too . I hope all his survivors will unite soon and come after him

Articles about her credentials

those are articles about her "yeshiva" Most Jews have never heard of his seminary, for good reason. It has no building, no watchdog board of directors and no intricate technical studies of Jewish law, since so few Jews follow it. Asked about his schools set up, Gelberman, a small, kindly man who lives in a penthouse by Central Park, pointed skyward and said, God is my board of directors. Students pay about $3, 000 annually to enroll, and can become eligible for ordination within weeks or months if Gelberman decides that they already know enough about Judaism. Major Jewish seminaries require five years of study, including one year in Israel. Ordinations by mail blasphemous, some clergy say Stacy J. Willis Sun, Jul 11, 1999 (9:11 a.m.) The issue has turned into a dispute in the Las Vegas Jewish community, where several local rabbis received their ordination through correspondence with a rabbinical school in New York -- much to the dismay of their more lengthily educated colleagues. Bergman and Rabbi Gary Golbart of Adat Ari El received their ordinations in recent years from The New Seminary in New York via correspondence -- a two- or three-year mentor study program. no major movement in Judaism will acknowledge graduates of this organization as legitimate rabbi

WHAT SORT OF CONGREGATION IS THIS WHERE THEY DON'T CHECK WITH THE YESHIVAS AND SEE JUST WHAT SORT OF BACKGROUND THEIR RABBI HAS --unless he comes from a hereditary line of Chassidic rebbes . Is this a REFORM or RECONSTRUCTIONALIST SHUL or what? So what he married a shiksa? That's HIS business. People usually don't even bother to convert anymore, because when they go to get the get, the other spouse has already got out of the picture. Charges of sexual misconduct are always suspect to me in the name of religion. I don't know ANY male rabbi in an Orthodox Congregation who would be alone with a woman much less discuss SEXUAL matters with her! BECAUSE THESE DAYS, IT IS LIKE ASKING FOR FREE LAWSUIT MONEY!DID THE WOMAN HAVE A LITTLE BLUE DRESS OR DID SHE DO THE RAPE KIT SWAB TEST FOR DNA? WHERE'S THE PROOF? Used to be the rabbis wife was called the rebettizim and she addressed the concerns of the women in the Congregation with NO men involved unless a decision by the RABBI was required! AND THAT IS HOW IT WAS! I AM JEWISH MYSELF AND TODAY I ATTEND NO CONGREGATION OR CHURCH OR SHUL OR HAVE ANY RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION. THE RABBI AND HIS WIFE MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER ATTENDING A MESSIANIC JEWISH CONGREGATION WHERE DIFFERENCES OF RELIGION DO NOT MATTER SO MUCH. WORSHIP LEADERS WITH HIS BACKGROUND WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED AND RESPECTED. FOR THIS ACCUSER TO BELITTLE THE REBBITZIM AS MUCH AS SHE DID, MAKES ME WONDER IF SHE ISN'T THE BROAD WHO FILED THE LAWSUIT OR SET OUT TO POSSIBLY SEDUCE THE RABBI AS WELL... The RABBI AND THE REBBITZIM BOTH HAVE MY SYMPATHIES. WHEN I READ STUFF LIKE THIS, I AM ONCE AGAIN REMINDED WHY I DO NOT ATTEND THE VICIOUS LITTLE SOCIAL CLUBS THAT PASS FOR RELIGIOUS DENOMINATIONS ... no woman in my family ever learned HEBREW. iT WASN'T PERMITTED UNTIL QUITE RECENTLY! This is the kind of crank accusations that ALL clergy people are subjected to unfortunately. The case was settled, it is OVER and DONE and I don't think the rabbi was guilty of anything but incredibly BAD judgment by being alone with a yenta when it was hisw wife who should have been counseling her.

Lies slander and defamation from this supposed jery Wing of Iowa

#15REBUTTAL Individual responds

Thu, December 25, 2008

We want to respond to Jerry Wing from iowa 's defamatory posting which is one lie after another. . EVERYTHING he wrote is a lie. Of course we can't find this supposed Jerry Wing of Iowa so he she further sins by being anonymous. Sins of "Jerry" in jewish law richiloot tale bearig, slander, defamation, lies see jewu video on gossip at youtube.com I get much anti semitic email for my videos so we believe this is a new tactic. response to the lies of jerry: Gail a. Was a Lutheran Minister not Presbyterian. She was the best student at the best Lutheran seminary in the world. She converted because she realized she never believed in Jesus as God or the son of God or Messiah, but wanted a Seminary training. That background gives her the credential for being one of the best conversion to Judaism teachers and mentors in the world. b. Gail as a rabbi. She received smicha from an Orthodox Rabbi who received it from an Orthodox Rabbi (Hasid) in Europe which makes her as much a Rabbi as anyone else with smicha. There are many people who say this rabbi or that rabbi is not a rabbi. In fact, most Orthodox say any non Orthodox Rabbi is a rabbi. There are many Rabbis out there who are not members of any national group and serve Congregations and teach in jewish schools etc. c. As to her knowledge- 1.how many rabbis seved 4000 member Congregations? Gail did. 2. How many taught Jewish texts at the college level? Gail did 3. How many were nominated by their colleges for professor of the year? Gail was. 4. How many have had papers on the tanach published in academic journals? Gail has Yes she knows less Talmud than an Orthodox Rabbi. But so do many graduates of well known Jewish seminaries. That is precisely the point of her program-the wanted people excellently trained in religion (she has an M Div and taught seven religions in college), plus dozens of Jewish courses and conversion classes, and said the Jewish people today need that kind of rabbi more than a Talmudic scholar. Tell the hundreds of jews who flock to her classes that she is not qualified to teach Judaism. Or better yet, watch these video of her teaching kabbalah and judge for yourselves: Kabbalah for Today 1 of 12 Jewu 375 Kabbalah for Today - Installment 2 Rebgail2 Kabbalah for Today - Installment 3 RebGail3 Kabbalah for Today - Installment 4 RebGail4 Kabbalah for Today - Installment 5 RebGail5 Kabbalah for Today - Installment 6 RebGail6 Kabbalah for Today - Installment 7 RebGail7 Kabblah for Today - Installment 8 RebGail8 Kabbalah for Today - Installment 9 RebGail9 Kabbalah for Today - Installment 10 RebGail10 Kabbalah for Today - Installment 11 RebGail11 Kabbalah for Today - Installment 12 RebGail12 She has served as Shaliach tzibbur for a Conservative synagogue on Friday nights, Musaf Shabbat morning, chanted haftarah etc. 2. Jonathan has been a pulpit rabbi in Conservative synagogues 27 years and has a long term contract now. He have been told he converts more people per year than any other rabbi in a synagagoue. He is a member of two different national Rabbinical bodies and one of the largest Jewish Ecumenical city groups of Rabbis in the world. He just finished a term as president of the Niles Township Clergy association, which covers all clergy in a several city township. He is probably the most productive rabbi in the world in Jewish educational material on the internet. Watch his 500 videos and read his blogs and websites. He is generally beloved by his Congregants, and often told he is the best preacher people have ever heard. He is a brilliant teacher, and educator. See (((Redacted))) His blogs (((Redacted))) He did not convert Gail. Her bet din consisted of One Orthodox rabbi and 2 Conservative rabbis. I won't comment on his disgusting comment about my wife and my relationship at a previous time. 3. Jerry Wing from Iowa quotes a newspaper article about a lawsuit that was settled. It was all from the side of the accuser, lies, slander, defamation from an anonymous source- someone who hates converts? Wants us to stop our Jewish educational efforts?
