radius global market research fake check for $1306.29 from radius global market research new york, New York
I received a letter in the mail to be a secret shopper along with a check written out for $1,306.29. The return address on the check is Fort Sill National Bank P.O box 33009 Fort Sill, OK,73503. The letter is signed sincerely by Jeff Smith the group project director.
The letter also instructs me to call my assigned training coordinator @ 1-718-247-9848 Ext 1 or 1-800-381-9780. At first i thought this would be a good opportunity to make some money seeing as though i am only 18 and currently unnempolyed, however many red flags went up after further looking into this company.
The remitter on the check is a different name then the signature on the check and the "group prject director" on the letter. I called the 1-800 number and was told to cash the check and then call back for instructions on what to do with the money. Immediately i googled Radius Global Market Research and saw another article about this scam with a $1,306.29 check.
