Rafael Shabtai - TDW Closeouts - The Discount Warehouse Ripoff, Refuses to refund, Bad product, Sunrise Florida
In 2001, I was a victim of TDW Warehouse.
I was supposed to be buying $3000 worth of Sears electronics through "The Discount Warehouse". I was promised that the 3 pallet lot I was buying was to include DVD players, TV's, stereos and various other home electronics.
I wired them the money, and drove up to Walnut, CA to get my merchandise.
What I ended up with was about $250 worth of microwaves. Nothing else was there. The warehouse owner informed me that TDW paid them $250 for the microwaves.
Distraught, I phoned TDW and was informed that there was nothing that they were willing to do. No refunds, no offers for exchange. I tried to get a partial refund, and was told it was not going to happen.
Rafael Shabtai, president of TDW, is a con artist - plain and simple.
IF YOU ORDER FROM THEIR SITE, YOU ARE GOING TO PAY TEN TIMES THE COST FOR GOODS THAT YOU COULD BUY YOURSELF FROM ANY CLOSEOUT WAREHOUSE DIRECTLY.
Do your own research and find the deals yourself. If you deal with these criminals, you will lose.

A law firm working for TDW has demanded that I update this page to remove defamatory statements. I made several attempts to update this report, however, the ripoff report does not currently provide an avenue for an individual to delete a report or update the contents of an existing report. I have sent an email to the webmaster of this site requesting that this particular post / blog be removed in its entirety.

I was also ripped off by TDW in 8/2005, over $3,500.00. Raphael Shabtai called me on 3/2006 and threatened to sue me if I don't take off my blog here. Anyway one of the other victims that I got a hold of a while back, recently designed a website/blog so that everyone else can help each other to try to get these scam artist on a TV show, like 20/20 or 60 minutes, but we need more people to make this happen. Please check out this site and there are info on how to get the word out to other victims so the whole world will find out!!! Thanks!!!
