Complaint Review: Raider Publishing - New york New York

I signed the poisonous contract in 2009. 

I wrote my complaint in 2012. The complaint is below dated August 20 but dont bother reading it its no diffrerent from your own.

It continues to break my heart when I see how many Authors are finding their way here. We have all heard the phrase "buyer beware" but we Authors know that what has happebed to us is so much worse. I could put up with buying a dodgy car or getting a bout of food poisoning, but we have handed over our heart and soul to these people, we have entrusted our art into their hands.

We have been ripped off, we have been betrayed, but worse, we were all set up. This pig Adam Salviani, set us all up.

Below I read a complaint by an Author who truly believes the strees of this situation has lead to grave ilness. To this person I send as much positive energy as I can muster so your pen can grace us for years to come. 

One Author alerted us to the online FBI site. Thank you very much I have completed the form and I hope something good comes from it.

Personally I have had my Lawyer looking into this for quite sometime and the problem is the contract itself. Of course it is worded to suck us in but its legal wording doesnt make sense. I once asked Adam for compensation. He told me that there was an appeniture pertaining to a particular clause, I still have that particular email in writing, I dont know about you all, but the contract I signed never showed any visible clauses pertaining to any appentitures.

My Lawyer drafted a letter politely asking for the contract to be null an void because of the many breaches. After a month without reply she sent it again. Another month has passed.

I truly believe that the authorities will get these guys, the overwhelming evidence suggests that they are on borrowed time, but from a business sense, please have no illusion, we good writers are never going to see a single cent for our efforts; this sham of a company will have no tangible assets and its directors will probably continue to this all again only the names will be changed to protect the guilty.

Even as I write this I feel my words sounding passive; more controlled from my initial report, but make no mistake I have lived with the surge of anger for nearly four years and I want closure from it the same as the rest of you.

Hopefully there are some positives. Kieth Richard once famously said: quote - "its the price you pay for a good education" The Stones had just been swindled out of the rights to every song prior to 1972; a body of work that changed the world, and god luv him he manages to shrug his shoulders and say that.

I hope like me, you are drawing from this experience and using it as motivation to improve and grow. I took this personally for a long time before this rip off report even existed. Where once there was jubilation at being selected, there then came horrible thoughts of whether my work had been flagged to the bottom of the pile or something. We all type our names into a search and see our work "available" all over the world yet insecurities are beginning to cloud us. What did I do wrong? Nothing. We were all set up!

What comes next...

Well, like it or not we have been chosen to become part of a forum of sorts. If we can indeed work together to ensure these people can never do this again i'm in.
