Rainbow Mufflers Total rip off on muffler installation DON'T USE THEM dishonest ripoffs St. Petersburg Florida
Guys, DO NOT GO TO RAINBOW MUFFLER ON 2747 38th Ave N!!! I took my truck into them to get my muffler system re-done. I told them ahead of time that I wanted dual exhast and a sound that resembled a Mustang GT. I even asked him about headers and if I needed to get them replaced too to do the dual exhast which he said no.
The guy behind the counter say's oh yeah, no problem. Asked them how much and he says they can do it for $199.00 which is their normal special. I told them also that it COULDN'T be too loud. Again, he says no problem. I leave it with them and come back later in the day and pay him. He says that he hopes it isn't too loud for me so I was like cool. I go out and drive it away and it's not loud at all and doesn't sound anything like a mustang GT. Not only that, underneath it was NOT dual exhast at all but was a single muffler with two ports out the back.
Tried to have them make things right and they refused. Tried to get them to take it out and put the old stuff in for a full refund, and they refused. I was completely ripped off by these guys and have stopped at least 10 people from using them. THEY ARE RIP OFF'S
