Okay so a friend asked me if she could come by and do a demonstration on the RAINBOW AirPurifier? So she could get hers free. "I did not have to buy anything just watch the demo" She stated. So upon her arrival, someone else showed up as well. They brought in boxes and boxes of things. I thought it was only the small airpurifier. While completing the demonstration on how good the airpurifier smelled, we them moved onto the vacuum.
I will say the product was awesome, I really wanted one. It really cleaned and sucked deep down into the carpets, matresses, pillows, etc. They wanted to leave the demo vacuum with me, and told me the whole time I could get it for FREE! If I showed 12 demos. It is called "The Ride Along Program"! I was super happy, b/c I knew I could show 12 people a DEMO.
After the super long 3 hour demo, we then went through the paperwork and the prices of the vacuum. It was $2990.00, but would only be $2400.00 (if I gave them my old vacuum and signed up the night of my demo). I was really sketchy and wanted to know all of the details to make sure I was not going to have to come out of pocket for this $3000.00 vacuum (since I did not have a old vac. bc I have all hard wood floors).
Me and my husband then found out within the 12 demo's that 2 of the people had to buy the vac. or sign up for the demo's. Oh, but wait I had to do all 12 demos in 45 days. Which wouldnt have been too hard, but then after the 6th DEMO I had to start paying 107.00 dollars a month for the vacuum, but after the 12th demo that is when they send you a check for 2,500. So you are supposed to send the check back to them so it pays for the vacuum. I asked the woman if she could keep the vacuum while I set up all 12 of my demos and did them then could I get the vacuum, she said "no, how is it going to look when you are telling your friends how great the product is and you do not have one"! She also said she gives me a scrip to say after I signed the contract to say to my friends. I am not a liar like my friend was and I did not want to mislead my friends. So she said well can I just leave it tonight and if you cant line up the people I will come back and get it tommorow. I said NO, bc I do not want to be responsible for a piece of equipment that cost 3000.00. My friend and the demonstrator both got super pissed off and started packing everything up.
I ended up setting up 15 appointments the next day, but come to find out it was more rules to go along with it. I did not do the demos and did not get the vacuum. I am so thankful. They say you get a free 2night 3 day hotel accomidations just for watching the demo. After your 12 demos you get a 7 day cruise. It is a big sucker scam and I advise anyone not to fall into their trap! It sounds good, but will end up costing you $$$!
Dont get me wrong if you have the 3,000 extra you can buy the vacuum if you want it. It is an awesome product, but I did not do it!

I am so sorry you had such a negative experience, but my experience with the Rainbow office in Acworth GA has been amazing! I was told up front that a representative would be doing the demonstration and he long it would take. The demonstration was fun and informative and I was never pressured to buy anything. I did choose to buy the system at the time of my demonstration to receive the discount (which I did). I did refer some of my friends to get the extra attachments and did receive a referral fee of $100 for the ones that purchased, but one of my friends were pressured to buy and the ones that didn't were treated the same as the ones who did and were able to refer their friends to get gifts as well. All of the gift programs were explained completely and were easy to complete. I received everything that was promised to me in a timely manner and the customer service has been superb even several years after buying my system.
It has done amazing things for our allergy and asthma issues and has been totally worth the money. I guess the offices must be individually owned because I didn't have even remotely the same experience as you did. I am so happy with the products and customer service I have received from the office in Acworth GA and would highly recommend it to everyone!

I agree with the previous post. It must have been the office/employee you dealt with as I had a GREAT experience from the company and LOVE the product. First, your friend should have told you th at the demo would be done by another person. And that it only counts for her free gift if you see the ENTIRE demo, that includes the vacuum. They also should have been completely honest with you about the rider program and all that entails. The representative I spoke with told me everything and the company here is very nice and helpful. But I know that all companies get employees that bring in complaints. This office also offers the free hotel stay, which I did receive. Not a scam on my end. But the employee should NOT have been angry with you for choosing not to buy. You should have contacted the owner of the office directly if you had any complaints.

Sounds like your issue was with a certain office. I had an excellent experience with our local office and finished my ride along program very quickly, and received my free machine.
You are right though, the product is absolutely amazing, it's too bad you had a bad experience. It seems the states has a lot of tactics to get into the homes, in canada they give you a free air purifier to watch the demo, and it's an amazing product as we'll.
