Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
So in January of 2005 I received a letter stating that I had won a trip to orlando and fort lauderdale. Of course I called immediately to see what this was all about just in case maybe my luck had actually kicked in. When I talked to the company they informed me that it would cost 698 per person to go plus traveling expenses. I refused the offer.

In April of 2005, I received a phone call saying that they had left over promotional packages from before for now only 198. I also could get a cruise to nassau bahamas for an extra 198. I did not know if this was all true or not so I asked if I could call them tomorrow after looking up a few things. They said it was only good for today. So I was on the phone with them for over two hours asking every possible question and I also talked to the manager in orlando. After feeling confident, I went ahead with it. We were charged 198 that day and the other 198 a month later. We paid off the bills and received our packaged information. All seemed well. In May 2005, we started to gather up a group of friends to go with us for our spring break in the following April. Just last week, I called and talked to over 6 different people trying to reserve our dates!! I got passed around and the people were very rude. Finally, everything was booked, after also getting charged an extra 90 to upgrade to a beach resort actually close to the city of ft. lauderdale. They also tried to get me to pay an extra 80 for an upgrade from a geo metro to a midsize car. I agreed and later that night we decided we would just drive ourselves. So I called the next day and asked to have the 80 refunded. A week later, all charges had applied. I got online to look up the phone number again and saw this website. Thank god! After being mortified, I took all the tips I had gotten off of here and called them. A man said he would refund my processing fees of 118, my upgrade of 90, and the 80 for the rental car and transferred me to another lady about refunding the 396. The lady kept saying that it was nonrefundable and that they could extend the trip. I explained I could not afford to extend it and that I would not be able to leave the state to go on the trip because I was on parole ( not true, but was a tip to try, so I did)...She questioned that, and so of course I said well that is confidential information you do not need to know. So after being as friendly as possible I told her that I was writing the attorney general, florida consumer services and Daniel Lambert. She said that is who I needed to talk to and hung up on me.

So, I am still in the process I guess. Hopefully I get my money back because I am a broke college student in the first place. I will update this if I hear back from anyone.

If anyone has any tips please let me know. I have no clue what to do about all of this.

Hey everyone I just wanted to thank every person who added to this site so many helpful hints and ways of getting my money back. It took about a month to do, but as of last week, I have all of my money credited back into my accounts. I contacted the attorney general of illinois and florida, BBB, had an attorney write a complaint letter, both credit cards that I used and Division of Consumer of Florida. I also wrote a letter specifically stating dates, times and names of everyone I talked to as well as my complaint to Gina Johns. I also faxed with the letter a copy of my terms and conditions which did not state anywhere that I could not receive a refund. I tried contacting her numerous times and left many messages on her machine. I also faxed her this letter two times!! I threatened to take legal action if I did not receive all of my money back in ten business days. I have not received any written information, but my money is back and is secure!! Her fax number is 954-568-3847. Her phone is 954-630-9449 which an operator will come on and you just ask to speak to Gina Johns. I hope this works for everyone else. Have faith. Hopefully the attorney generals will nail these people for all they are worth!!!
