Ramada Plaza Resorts ripoff dishonest deceptive advertising unlawful use of credit card for false accumulation of funds without refund of money charged.... FT. Lauderdale Florida
We also recieved a so called ligament looking travel package through the mail, after calling the toll free number and being convinced it was a good deal, I stupidly gave out our credit card number for the supposedly 1st installment on this trip. The 1st person I talked to was named Will after giving me his sales pitch he transferred me over to his manager whose name was Renee the final person who took all the call was Amond.
As many Red Flags that were coming up and knowing that you should never give out your credit card number to someone you don't know anything about, I did. The name Ramada is a very established name in business and never dreamed for one moment this was a scam. Now I am finding all these RIP OFF Reports about this Ramada Resort. As one other person said, I wish I had checked out this Resort Company and this so called good deal before I committed my credit card out to strangers. $698 I will try and call my credit company, but with it being a Holiday week-end may have no sucess till Monday, I may have to cancel the card to stop any further charges to it.
I certainly hope that some how these people can be stopped and brought to trial, and those of us who have been their victims can be reinbursed for the sum they have ripped us off for.
I certainly hope that some one will be able to help me and all those others who have been scammed.
