Ramada Plaza Resorts ripoff, LIES! Doon't trust the RAMADA name consumer fraud ripoff Ft. Lauderdale Florida

I was totally, scammed by this company. Trusting them because of the name Ramada. The original vacation was supposed to be 698.00. Which I had broken up over the course of time, because I'm on disibility.
When I went to book the vacation on 3/5/2003, it would up costing me in total 2400.00. I didn't start investagting this company until I was given a flase website for the hotel I would be staying at. Once I entered Ramada Plaza Resorts, instead of Ramada, all I found was lawsuit, upon lawsuit. I paniced and called to cancel.
I was told my everyone they transferred me to Ashley, no last name she would not give it to me, then Marjorie, just Marjorie, that I could not get a refund for anything. So I contacted the FTC, Florida's state atty general's office along with NY's, and my credit card company's. I printed and faxed everything I found to all of these people.
That was on 3/7/2003, today 3/14/2003 I found that so far I got a credit of 1122.00. DO not stop fighting this company for your money back, you can win! I found also that they used to call themselves Premier Travel, and were issued a cease and desist order to sell travel.
So what did they do.. change they're name. Nice trick? I want another cease and desist order put on them. I can't see how this company gets away this, taking money from innocent people, and being the rudest B*******, when you request a refund. Also when they told me they were recording me, I informed them I was recording them also, guess what they kept hanging up on me, no surprise here. I can play their game too.
I will be sending those tapes to the Fla state atty's general office, so they can hear first hand how people are treated.

Today I checked my credit cards online and all my money was given back to me! I showed my credit card companies ( I used two) all the information I found on them, and the reports I filed with the FTC, NY consumer fraud dept, and Fla atty general's office. Then I had my credit card companies listen in while I was requesting my money back, I think this was the kicker since they couldn't come up with a reason. I'm not stopping fighting this company though, I'm working with the Fla atty generals office (criminal division) I want another cease and desist order put on this company! This happened to them in 2001 when they were then known as Premier Travel. I think it's unfair to so many innocent people, that this company just changes their name and gets another license. Aside from getting in contact with your state consumer fraud dept, please let's put them out of business once and for all, use fla atty generals office! Good luck everyone, and don't give up getting your money back!

Today I recieved an additional refund, of 497.00, not from Ramada but from my Visa card. I had them listening in as to "why" I could not get a refund back, and they hung up on me. Which Visa got to hear, thanks Ramada, if it wasn't for your constant rudeness I might have had a bigger fight these funds back. 600.00 more to go!
