It looks like they're under new mgmt or something, since they responded that they want to help you and will give you a new gas card if Suzuki won't if you contact them! If you do contact them and they still don't make good on that, then definitely post back here but until then see if you can get the card!
As for the monthly payment, it certainly included tax, license, fees, etc. and you should ALWAYS look at the purchase contract to find out the real numbers and costs associated with doing the loan/car.

I didnt get it in writing because i didnt think that a big dealership would not keep their word. They promised it to be. I was not even aware of this gas card, they told me i would be getting it in the mail.... $280 is a lot of money when you are paying a almost $400.00 car payment. If i wasnt going to get it they should have never offered it..... i think that it was false advertising....and another thing is i have had nothing but problems with this car as well. For a brand new car....ha, ha, it wouldnt start the other day in the cold........... i am so disapointed in Ray Chevrolet now....

Does it say anywhere on the contracts you signed that you are owed a $280 gas card? If not, you're not likely ever to see one. If it's not on paper, it's not part of the deal. They probably thought you'd go for this since you caved in when they had mislead you before.
If, in fact, you do have a contract that says you're owed a $280 gas card, then file a small claims suit against them. Chances are good that when they find out you're not going to roll over, they'll pay up without going to court. A verbal promise is worthless, but a written contract is gold.

I am a representative of Ray Suzuki and would like to respond to your complaint. First, it sounds like the payment you were quoted did not include tax. Until the deal is completed, the payment quoted is often an estimate and never includes tax unless otherwise specified. The $398 payment amount should have been on the paperwork you signed off on. If it was not, please feel free to let me know and I will address this directly with the owner, as it is our practice to be up front and honest with all of our customers.
The "Free Gas for the Summer" promotion was through Suzuki. The promotion ended September 1, 2010. Since you purchased your vehicle in August, you certainly qualified for the gas card promotion. Unfortunately, we do not fulfill national promotions, such as "Free Gas for the Summer." Those types of promotions are handled directly though, in this case, Suzuki. Because you've waited so long for the gas card, we are willing to offer you one as a good faith gesture. Please contact Matt Douvikas at Ray Chevrolet and he will make sure this situation is resolved in a timely manor.
