Rayanne Mercier Demon in disguise Kelowna British Columbia
I put up an add in a local message board to find a short term room to rent. Rayanne contacted me about the advertisement, and I met her and agreed to move into her home with her and her son, and rent the available room for 750$ for 5 weeks.
Soon after moving in, Rayanne began to ask me for more and more 'help' with things, such as getting to work (her car was apparently broken down) and she was short on her rent by 200$. I agreed to loan her the 200$ for rent (my first mistake) and she said she would pay me back 2 weeks later on her payday, but the time came and went, and she had no intention of paying me back, and basically tried denying that I lent it to her to begin with (I have bank statements).
2nd mistake I made is letting her borrow my truck to get to work, because after about the 5th time or so loaning it to her, she returned with a large amount of body damage to the passenger side door and rear quarter panel. When she returned she tried saying she didn't cause the damage, but seeing how she left with the truck not having this damage, she agreed to take responsibility for the damage caused. In total the damage was over 3000$ according to the local body shop quote, so I asked her to pay the 300$ insurance deductible, to which she denied having any responsibility for the damage.
In short Rayanne is a manipulative liar and a thief, and I wouldn't believe anything she says. If you have any dealings with her, and are reading this, consider yourself warned. I very much regret meeting this individual, and she did nothing but rip me off.

I am Dustin the person who got ripped off by Rayanne, however I would like to update this report because it cannot be removed entirely. Rayanne has apologized to me and has expressed sincere regret about what happened in the past, and I feel she has learned from her mistakes. She is trying to be accountable for the problems she has caused, she has grown up.
If I could, I would remove this because I do not want any of her prospective employers or friends to judge her solely on this unfortunate set of circumstances. She is a better person now than she was a couple years ago, and I believe people should get a second chance if they have turned a new leaf.
