president Bush enacted new law allowing people on medicare to obtain 600 dollars in FREE prescription credits as well as discounts on medication. This program is run by fed government especially the medicare department. Medicare endorses private companies to issue these insurance discount cards and READERS DIGEST happens to be one of about 30 private companies that medicare did endorse and also allows to represent them.

READERS DIGEST placed MILLIONS of their sign up packets and mass marketed the area I live in, Naples Florida. Medicare has specific list of drugs that have been approved for both the 600 credit as well as further discounts. READERS DIGEST took medicares approved list and ELIMINATED ALMOST ALL OF THEM and READERS DIGEST tells everybody that a drug that is in fact approved by medicare, SHALL not BE approved by READERS DIGEST.

READERS DIGEST IS SCAMMING people blatently so that they do NOT PAY FOR NOR DISCOUNT any medicare approveed drugs. READERS DIGEST also forces card holders to use a pharmacy that is over 100 miles away from areas they mass marketed, therefore NO pharmicies in my area are on list to accept card that READERS DIGEST ISSUED. READERS DIGEST purposely mass marketed in areas knowing they were NOT INTENDING to have any pharmicies available to accept READERS DIGEST RX SAVINGS CARDS. READERS DIGEST takes medicares law and twist it against the people.

medicare clearly states that IF you are unhappy with one medicare approved card provider, you MUST disenroll, go WITHOUT BENIFITS and then wait until the first of January of the following year to sign up with new and different medicare approved card issuer. READERS DIGEST PURPOSELY MASS MARKETED THE NAPLES FLORIDA AREA FULL WELL KNOWING THAT ABSOLUTELY NO PHARMICIES WOULD BE AVILABLE TO ACCEPT READERS DIGEST RX SAVINGS CARD. This also kills 600 dollars in benifits that were given to people that need them and READERS DIGEST is SCAMMING millions of people out of millions of dollars by taking a very good program and customizing it to FAIL ON PURPOSE by finding loop holes in new medicare law that became valid on MAY 1 2004.

IF THE US GOVERNMENT MAKES a law to help people on medicare, then all drugs on medicare approved list should be covered by all cards. READERS DIGEST ISSUES CARDS THAT DO NOT NOR WILL NOT EVER WORK IT IS PURE SCAM AND THIS ALSO BILKS MANY PEOPLE OUT OF BENIFITS THAT READERS DIGEST ULTIMATELY ENDS UP PUTTING IN READERS DIGEST CORPORATE PIGGY BANK.
