On the way home from work one day I get a call on my cell phone. I answered and this s****.. OK Ill listen I thought,I was a telemarketer once. So I sat and listened. In the end,I said "Im sorry Im not intrested,I dont read the magazine and actually I am on my cell phone right now,but thank you for the offer" then came the rebuttle,again I said Im sorry Im not intrested and could you please take me off your list,this is my cell phone and I dont want to kill any minutes I have" and said thank you and ended the call. Well, low and behold a couple weeks later guess what I got in the mail!!! You got it, A readers digest magazine. A gesture from them I thought, and dismissed it. Well a couple weeks later guess what I got....You got it a bill saying I better pay them for the subscription or Ill be reported to collections. I was irrate. I took the bill and wrote a nasty but firming note on it and send it to them. Fortantly I havent got any bills yet. But I did get this letter asking them for me to subscribe again. Dont these people ever give up? As for the telemarketer,as far as I know dont they have to taperecord you stating that you would like a subscription? I guess not.... I better pull up my credit report actually and see what other surpises Im in for........ Carly
