These people sent me a letter back in April 2014.
Today, Amy from Countrywide Periodicals called about me owing them money. I've told them now twice I can't afford their magazines and wish to cancel. They refuse. Legitimate subscription companys always allow you to cancel.
Their details are:
Readers Service & Countrywide Periodicals
737 Highway 93 N
Hamilton, MT 59840
406-916-5388
If you receive a plain-looking envelope bearing simply "Periodicals" and a P.O. Box, beware.
In fact, here's their mailing address:
Periodicals
PO Box 1950
Hamilton, MT 59840
Giving them access to your account makes it so they can lay claim to whatever they want. I've gone so far as to report them to the FTC and the FBI.
How did they come to contact me, you might be wondering? Well, in my innocence, I was interested in some sweepstake they were offering.

For the past couple of days, "Periodicals" has been calling from 877-299-6153. Let me guess, most of the money goes to the zillion-and-one phone numbers their billing department uses? Talk about a sneaky way to get out of the whole telephone harassment thing.

I just received this call from "Periodicals" at 218-463-2318.
We'll slowly get to know every last billing phone number for Readers Service & Countrywide Periodicals, aka "Periodicals". Doesn't matter to me if I have to post a phone number from every last state.

Just a few minutes ago, I received a call from "Periodicals" billling department at 469-513-0100. I informed them that a legitimate subscription service allows the customer to cancel at any time, that I think this is a scam, and that I'm going to fight it. The only good thing I can say is the man on the other end was polite and calm. But there you have it, another phone number for the same darned place.
