I am a customer with real estate express online classes. I completed my last test with the class on 9-5-2017 by scoring a 93. I called to see what my next steps are and she said that they were going to have to fail me because I did not get the test monitored. She informed me that they have NOT informed anyone yet unless they call in and ask. I said so why did you allow me to take the test and pass it just to tell me that it doesnt count? I asked for a Supervisor.
I informed her that I have taken ALL test online and was never told that it was to be monitored. Christina said that they just regulated this rule on 9-1-2017. I called TREC and they informed me that Real Estate Express was informed months ago and was given an additional 5 months because they were not ready for the changes. I told her that they failed me due to this rule even thou I passed the test. SHe said that is a flaw on thier end because they were supposed to let me know and they did not.
I was told by a rep that it was not at all my fault because they need to send out the email to inform everyone and they had not done that yet. 2 reps informed me that the email was not sent. Instead, they attempted to close all accounts from having access until they called in to see why they did not have access. THis is what happened to me.
I had no problems accessing the test. I took the test and passed it with a 93. Christina then went into my test and made it a 0. She said there was nothing she could do.
I went to the link they provided to get it proctored and take another test and the link did not work. I called again and another rep told me that this is the first day they are working with the system and unfortunatley it is not working yet and that I will not know how to get a test proctored until MAYBE later on.
She then called me back and said that they could not reset my test. THey could only error it out meaning I failed the test even thou I passed the test. Since I have a fail that means they are going to give me a new test and if I don't pass it then I fail the course. Who do I talk to to get this resolved?
