I just want to say we are all human and mistakes happen so if the rebate was from for example 01/01/2008- 01/30/2008 and someone entered 01/31/2008 instead of a date that your purchase was made on which is in the qualifying period then that is considered a mistake. We are happy to know that you kept a copy of your rebate submission because alot of people do not. So now I hope you received your rebate since everything was corrected.

I contacted the BBB about this company and recieved the following response: -------------- Please let this letter serve as our response to a complaint filed concerning the status of a rebate. Continental Promotion Group Inc. (CPG) is a fulfillment house that is contracted with the sponsor of a consumer promotion, Envision Peripherals Inc., to fulfill consumer rebate requests. CPG simply acts as the sponsor's agent in receiving and processing mail submissions and other consumer inquiries. The sponsor who is responsible for compliance with its terms puts the consumer offer forth. Acting as the fulfillment agent, CPG itself has no obligation to fund consumer rebates. That obligation belongs solely to Envision Peripherals Inc. CPG is obliged to follow the instructions of our client with respect to individual rebates to be funded. We are showing a valid rebate request for $60 in our system. This rebate is currently processing. Once this check has completed the mail preparation phases of the processing it will be mailed. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Sincerely, Customer Contact Center Continental Promotion Group, Inc ---------- I kept my BBB case open and followed up with: I want to make a point here. This is a Continental Promotion Group problem and not an Envision problem. The issue is that Continental Promotion Group is not processing rebates correctly for their sponsor. The issue lies with Continental Promotion Group and they should be audited for compliance. I would dare say that if they were audited the auditor would find CPG rejecting many legitamate rebate requests and this is not right. They are actually stealing from the person submitting the rebate since they won't receive that money. I may receive my rebate now after making a big issue out of this but I'm sure there are many that won't go to such lengths.
