Rebirth Fitness and Pulse Fitness Group USA are the two newest names for John Greeley's companies. Some of his past companies include Fitness Equipment Depot Worldwide, CAC Fitness, Zachleigh Fitness, Col-G Fitness, International Fitness Resources, etc. Some of John Greeley’s scams include selling equipment that is not in stock and then keeping 20% “restocking fee” when the order is cancelled; shipping faulty equipment and blaming the damage on the shipping company, thus forcing the customer to dispute with a 3rd party; sending wrong equipment and then hiding behind his employees who filter customer complaints; paying for equipment on Ebay/Craig’s List and other businesses with fraudulent checks that bounce after the equipment is picked up by his (or another) transport company, leaving the customer swindled with no money or equipment. John Greeley also scams international customers who can’t afford to come to the United States to fight a lawsuit in the Eastern District of New York, designated in the sales contract as the location for all litigations. Numerous victims have posted complaints on Yelp, BBB, RipOff Report, Consumer Fraud, Glassdoor, Google, etc. Do not be another victim!

Despite what John Greeley, his sister Liz Greeley, and their associates try to convince the public that I, Kristen Colchico, am responsible for all of the hundreds of complaints about Pulse Fitness Group, Rebirth Fitness, and the 15 other corporate names under which they have conducted business, I have never written anything about them online. I recommend believing what is written because the reviews on this site and many other sites appear to be from real customers because it isn’t from me!

.... about 1 year ago I placed an order for our company with Rebirth/Fitnessplus/the Pulse Group USA for 1 cybex leg press, 1 cybex 45° calf machine and 1 hammer strength bicep curl. I then paid $5,885.00 to the Pulse Group USA account for the 3 machines, including shipping to Germany. Supposedly, the refurbished devices should be ready for dispatch within 6 weeks. That started the dilemma. The contact person assigned to me simply does not answer and does not respond to my numerous emails and telephone inquiries. John Greeley, as "Head of Sales", then communicated reassuringly and actually promptly, so it took me a while to come to the conclusion that the devices were not available at all. What finally convinced me was the statement that certain spare parts were allegedly not available from Cybex USA or are currently not available due to Covid. After my personal call to Life Fitness, this turned out to be a simple lie. I then canceled my order and requested a refund of the amounts paid. First, credit notes were sent to me, which are then supposed to be released for payment by the accounting department (Denise Barry) and the CEO. After there was no response to my request for payment, I received an email from Denise that it would take another 3-4 weeks. After the 4 weeks, Denise was away on vacation and could not be reached again. I then "complained" to John Greeley again, John reassured me with decisive words and after a while Denise emailed me again and apologized again. so the dance went on and on over the summer until I finally escalated the matter to our attorneys for a lawsuit against the Pulse Group USA inc. for payment and to file criminal charges against John Greeley and Denise Barry personally for fraud. We'll see what comes of it. Regardless of the possible outcome in court, after more than 40 years in the fitness industry, I never imagined that people would be so deceitful and always find their victims. How is it possible that people like the aforementioned John Greeley and Denise Barry get off scot-free for so long and push their swindle on and on without a prosecutor really taking care of the matter once and for all and putting an end to the hustle and bustle. to John: I'm in the US regularly as 50% of my family lives there. Assume that I will do everything humanly possible to find you and Denise and to call them to account.

Same review, "different" poster...

Like several previous bogus reviews, this was written by Kristen Colchicco (the former owner of the now defuct KAC Fitness) who has a personal vendetta against John Greeley and has no qualms about posting negative and untrue reviews just to slander someone with whom she previously had an intimate relationship. Although a cease and desist was issued after a court deemed the poster to be mentally ill and guilty of slander, she is still able to post these reviews by hiding behind fake names and social media accounts. This recent post is almost verbatim of one previously posted by a "different" unhappy "customer" ( including the laughable notion that anyone on Craigs List is accepting a check from someone as payment -and Ebay's policy strictly forbids payment by check)
