Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We bought a 24' oval pool from the warehouse in Tampa on N. Nebraska. salesman's name is Aaron. Got the price I wanted but it all went downhill from there. They couldn't install right away due to a holiday on 9-2-02. So we had to wait till the w/e of 9-6-02. No one called for directions until the day of install at 8AM. We of course missed the call, not knowing that they would not have access to a map of the area only being about 10 miles from the store and right off Hillsborough Ave.

So we finally call the store at 10:15AM and the guy says "well I called and couldn't get directions so I sent the crew home" Unbelievable! So we told the guy "Well you better call them back and get out here we were promised the pool would be done today and you had a week to get directions or look at a map". The "crew" shows up finally around 12:00noon. The first order of business for them? Ordering Pizza for lunch. That took them until 1:00PM. Then before even doing anything they say we have to take a section of fence down to bring a backhoe in to get the roots out (at a additional cost of 260.00!)they crack the fence by the way now I have to try to get it replaced(Good Luck).

So they work until 5:00 and totally destroy my yard with this machine. Then its quittin' time! Work on Sunday No Way Lady! We'll be back first thing Monday to finish but I have to leave work to sign off on the completion. Another inconvenience to me. So I come home at noon to find out they sent the wrong pump, this one is for direct wiring only and i can't do anything w/o an electrician. Which I scheduled for the next weekend thinking I could run an extension for a few days till he arrives.

So I call the store and expalin I got the wrong pump he promises he'll have som, eone come out and trade it out and hook up the right one. We waited until 9:30 PM never saw antone never got a call. So here I sit no pump, the pool is half full and I'm living in the middle of little Vietnam in my yard. Called and spoke to the manager and he acted like he could care less.

Spent aroung 4000.00 for the pool but I feel like I've been ripped off because they have no concept of Customer service. Just look at how many complaints are on this sight alone. I'm screwed..........

This sounds like a gross misunderstanding, as well as someone who should read things before she signs them. First of all, R.F.W. does not build pools, they never have they never will. Subcontractors build the swimming pools. If you would have read their CONTRACT that you signed to have the pool built by them i'm sure there was a clear explanation of any "extras" in there as well as what they do and do not do for a fee. You always had the option to get the pool built by another contractor, R.F.W. tries to make it easier to you by recommending a contractor. I'm sorry you have a problem, but your problem is with the contractors not with R.F.W. Why not mention them? As far as your pump wire goes, check with the state of Florida or Your local county. There are safety laws in place that prohibit using extention cords or any temporary wiring near or around any swimming pools. Complain to your governor.
