Recycle For Life or Keith Harris UNRELIABLE FLAKE, It's a scam!!! Laguna Hills California
I have experienced first hand the comment that was made in April 2013 regarding Recycle for Life (or Kieth Harris) being unreliable and unprofessional. I was contacted through email by him months ago, telling me that there is a scheduled e-waste pickup in my area and would it be okay for him to stop by and pick up any electronic waste that my company has available? I responded with yes, please come by.
I was sent an email asking what goods I had, which I responded back telling him the list of items. Then the day of pick up, a guy with a very heavy asian accent called me saying he will have to reschedule the pick up. Okay, fine, things happen. However, he then called me on the second scheduled pickup (2 weeks later) and said he couldn't pick up that day and he could come the following week...again, a no show the following week.
This went on another 2 times. Today, was his last chance, and he blew it once again! That is 5 times that a pick-up was scheduled and then cancelled. Today he claimed that they are having technical difficulties and would not be able to make it.
I informed him through email that we will not use his service any more and will take our items to a recycling center instead of waiting on him to get his act together.
I believe this is some kind of scam, since he was very adimant each time about needing to know what items I had. I think that there must be something very specific they want and if it is not in the list, then they could care less about picking the other stuff up. As soon as I tell them what items we have for recycling, I get a cancelled pick up the next day! Rediculous business practice. AVOID this company, they are nothing but a joke and waste of time.
