RED RHINO MEDIA INC - CRYE PRECISION fraudulent advertising, mail fraud, counterfeit check of $2480. internet scam Internet
I responded to a craigslist ad for car wrapping by a company called Red Rhino Media inc. I comunicated by email with someone called James McKenzie HR Manager. He explained how his company would pay me to put decals on my car and drive it around to advertise his company. He sent me a check for $2480. on Dec 5, 2013. I was to deposit it in my checking then get 5 prepaid cards for $500 each. The cards were to pay for the decal work which never happened. After giving him the pin numbers for the prepaid cards I found out the check was counterfeit so i lost $2480. I have a copy of all emails and a copy of the check.
The check came from CRYE PRECISION LLC , 63 Flushing Ave., Brooklyn NY 11205. It also said City National Bank , New York, Ny 10022. I realize what a mistake i made trusting someone that i never met with my money. I had just been medically discharged from the army and needed money for rent . Please call me with any questions so i may help get my hard earned money back. Everyone says forget it but i don't think people should get away with this behavior. When i called the National Bank in NY they said they had gotten 100's of these complaints and counterfeit checks since fall of 2013.
