SPCA Lenora Lowery shooting animals. This is the same person that lied and claimed United States Animal Protection had sold animals to laboratories. I belong to U.S. Animal Protections group and this woman has told horrible lies about Dawn and USAP she and a lady named Nancy Green are always starting trouble now I find out she is the one abusing and shooting dogs! Leonora Lowery was caught lying and has harassed Dawn Taylor Bechtold and Donna from a horse rescue in Georgia for years.

DNA/DNR/DNT Red River SPCA of Texas

HIGH URGENCY!!!!!! DNA/DNR RED RIVER SPCA IN WHITESBORO AND GAINSVILLE TEXAS!!!

Permission to cross-post far and wide - please take extra care to forward to ANY and ALL Texas contacts!

The following is a condensed list of some of the atrocities being committed at a self proclaimed 'no kill' SPCA rescue hidden in rural Texas far from the scrutinizing eye of the REAL Humane Societies and SPCAs of the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. Please, under any circumstances, DO NOT send any animal to these people or allow any of the people listed below to transport any animal.

These are some of the members and known associates of the Red River SPCA.

Tommie Kirksmith, Kimberly Fairchild, Barb Oates, Heather Holt, Bonnie Smith, Leonora Lowery........ As we get more names and information we will update to be crossposted.

This is from a statement taken from an eyewitness:

Dogs are routinely shot and in fact, the shooting of dogs is the preferred method of 'euthanasia'.

There are few if any intake and outtake records of the animals taken in and adopted.

There is little if any vetting done on any of the animals in the care of Red River SPCA. Dogs recovered from the Red River SPCA have been found to be in atrocious health and riddled with parasites and subsequently were subjected to lengthy treatments to get them back to health. This too, has been documented and will be reported to the proper authorities.

Animals under the Care of Red River SPCA are mistreated and denied medical attention even when evidence of extreme pain is present. There is one documented incident where a dog was severely beaten at a foster's home and taken to the President's home and allowed to die. This evidence is being turned over to the proper authorities.

There are other dogs at the above mentioned foster home that are routinely mistreated by a member of the household that allegedly has severe domestic violence issues. Some of the dogs mistreated at this home come from FWAC (Fort Worth Animal Control) - this is also documented and being entered as evidence with the proper authorities.

Members of the Red River SPCA have been heard commenting that other fellow members of the Red River SPCA have been responsible for stealing dog food from a local warehouse distribution center that supplies a major pet store. The reason for the comment was that some of the members of the SPCA were sore that the stolen dog food was not properly distributed amongst the members of the Red River SPCA but rather sold at a discount by one of the members to supplement her income. This is not yet verified but the warehouse has reportedly added extra security measures to in order to control some of the 'unexplained loss of merchandise - namely dog food'.

There are larger, hoofed animals that are allegedly being subjected to sexual abuse by the mentally ill son of the President of the SPCA at their base in Whitesboro, Tranquility Farms. This is not yet verified.

There are also many serious allegations of misappropriation of donated funds to this 501c3 non-profit to the tune of 12,000+ dollars that are mysteriously unaccounted for. This is not yet verified but a complaint letter and a report of the eyewitness testimony has been sent to the IRS.

Many of the animals on the website of the Red River SPCA that have a donate button beside their sad stories are no longer in the care of the Red River SPCA. They cover their tracks well in that they mention on their pet finder site that although they are too busy to update their website, donations will go to all needy animals that need care. There is enough evidence to bring a shadow of doubt as to the quality of attention received by the animals in their care - using the term 'care' loosely.

It is further rumored that between the President of the Red River SPCA and one of her Board Members, Bonnie Smith (owner and breeder of champion Tennessee Walkers) there have been several seizures of horses that were 'supposedly' victims of neglect and that said horses were Tennessee Walkers and were never listed as being adopted or even up for adoption. This is yet to be verified.

It is also rumored that members of the Red River SPCA have taken in horses by people no longer able to afford feed during past droughts and that said horses were fattened only to be taken to slaughter for a miserable profit. This is yet to be verified.

There are also very disturbing but strong and consistent murmurings of a member of the Red River SPCA that sold dogs to laboratories for testing. This is yet to be verified but we feel very strong that it will be proved.

Please, this is not an attempt to defame or slander. The allegations contained in this e-mail are being distributed in an effort to save animals and prevent the prolonged misery of animals that were supposedly rescued only to be taken to their doom in a far away rural hell hole and placed under the care of people that emulate the horrible qualities of those that add to the problem of the many dogs and cats that are on death row in this state and this nation. Please, for the sake of the animals, proceed with caution when dealing with anyone on this group and if at all possible AVOID ALL CONTACT.

If anyone has any further information, please feel free to e-mail (((email redacted))). Comments will be anonymous for the protection of the informants. These are dangerous people indeed and they must be stopped. TEXANS - wake up and take up "proverbial arms" against these monsters and defend our four-legged counterparts that depend on us for a voice and defense!!

Thank you!
Carl

Information about RRSPCA has been falsely reported. Shelter is part of the SPCA Texas network. All health records have been kept since 1987 when society was founded. RRSPCA uses 3 different vetrinarian services to assure proper care of all animals. RRSPCA has been a no-kill shelter since founding. Only animals who have been gravely injured or are immediatly dieing are euthanized to prevent suffering and is aalways done by a registered D.V.M and records are kept on all cases.

Leona Lowery has never been associated with Red River SPCA. She is known to have attacked multiple shelters accross the United States on false and slanderous information that has never held a bit of truth.
