I should have posted this earlier but time and tide .... I e-mailed the company a few times telling them that (a) it was the wrong model and, (b) it needed repairing. These e-mails were ignored, so I phoned them and got a number unobtainable tone when I did. I phoned them several times at different times of the day and, as I'm in the UK, at night. Every time I got the number unobtainable tone. The obvious conclusion is they have done a runner. This means that their 30 day return policy and their two-year guarantee are worthless. I eventually had to pay the equivelent of $60 to get the watch repaired. To be fair to them, the watch is a very good replica; it has kept good time, and it has fooled a number of people, including a Rolex dealer when I took it in to them to get the stap adjusted. He pointed out that this particular model is currently fetching in the UK 3,500, so it's worth looking after! That being said, I would not recommend them as a reliable place to deal with. David

On May, 2, I finally recieved a watch from Redhotwatch. Unfortunately, it was the wrong model. I sent an e-mail to someone called Carol telling her that they had sent me the wrong one, and I would have kept it but one of the illuminous markers had come off so I needed to send it back. I also enquired about the whereabouts of the display box; I received the watch in a jiffy bag. And, apart from the watch, there was nothing else in the bag. I did send her a few other e-mails, enquiring about whether the watch was second hand because there were a few scratches near the clasp and some of the numbers on the hologrphic sticker had worn off. I also asked her to confirm the return address, which on the jiffy bag was: Connie Brown, 1980 Frankford Avenue, Phila., Pa 19125. A few days later she e-mailed me back saying that this wasn't their return address, but she didn't volunteer their return address. I e-mailed her back asking for it; I haven't received a reply yet so it looks like I will have to phone them up, which is inconvenient from the UK. The watch itself appears to be an OK replica. It feels the correct weight, and having compared it with genuine Rolex Submariners, both in the window of a Rolex dealer and with photogaphs on the internet, I cannot see any difference between the one I've got and the genuine article, apart from the fact that one of the illuminous markers has come off. So it probably isn't a $200 dollar Jap replica. I was surprised to read from Ron's report that the guy lives in New York and not Philadelphia as I originally thought. And that the guy's name is Nick Cook and not Kenny as the guy I spoke to in October said he was called: he had a Spanish/Mexican accent and said that he had recently taken over from Todd Tucker. Incidentally, another reason why I thought the company operated out of Philadelphia, customer service sent me an e-mail way back in February, 2005, which gave their office address as: 240 Bradford Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa 19134.
