Professional journalists with integrity, principles and the goal of reporting the objective truth follow the Society of Professional Journalists’ code of ethics which encompasses a “accuracy and standards for factual reporting” that apparently was not important to Postmedia Network Inc, the Regina Leader Post, the Saskatoon Star Phoenix and for sure not important to Barb Pacholik, Marlon Marshall of the Leader Post or their region manager, Alan Allnutt, or even to their Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Publisher, Rob McLaughlin in their front pgae, FCAA February 6th 2014 newspaper article .
As taken from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journalism_ethics is part of the outline for ethical standards for professional journalism and journalists, of which, upon reading Pacholik’s February 6th 2014 front page article, you will see how she, the Leader Post, Star Phoenix and Post media Network Inc missed the mark on so many, if not all of these points.

Accuracy and standards for factual reporting
- Reporters are expected to be as accurate as possible given the time allotted to story preparation and the space available, and to seek reliable sources. **Pacholik did not report on accurate facts, she reported on facts presented in 2010 and 2012 that had been uniquevicolly disproven during the 2013-2014 FCAA hearing, so her facts were false and fraudulent. Pacholik made ZERO ATTEMPT to seek ANY reliable sources, she chose two exposed perjurers FCAA Ed Rodonets and FCAA Sandy Novak as her ONLY resources**
- Independent fact-checking by another employee of the publisher is desirable.**”This obviously did not happen as fraudulent and false facts were printed and published about the Respondents in the February 6th 2014 front page article**
- Corrections are published when errors are discovered.** The Leader Post is like the government and they will never admit that they made any errors, so this will never happen despite the Respondents sending numerous letters to the Leader Post asking for retractions, corrections and apologies**
- Defendants at trial are treated only as having "allegedly" committed crimes, until conviction, when their crimes are generally reported as fact **Pacholik and the Leader Post have completely missed the mark on this, for they print, as if a guilty verdict has been handed down. Pacholik must have missed this class at journalism school, for, as of the past 5 years, she has yet to ever imply or state that these are ONLY allegations against the Respondents and that the Respondents have NOT BEEN found guilty of anything. Pacholik’s arrogant, negligent, and incompetent and false-facts reporting paint the respondents as having been found 100% guilty of something when such is not the case. It was Pacholik’s job to make it clear to the public that these are just allegations against the Respondents and have NOT been PROVEN TRUE**
