Complaint Review: Regus Mark Dixon Michael Ormiston Rahul Walia are all scammers! Beware do not even go near Regus Centers - Internet Internet

I wish I had found these sites before signing under the dotted line with Regus. These guys just lie in your face. We signed a lease with the Regus center in Delhi (Elegance Building!) and specifically told them that we need this location for web development and we need high speed internet connection of at least 1 Mbps. We (3 of us) were told by their sales agent Naman Sehgal  at this center that the location has 5 Mbps, after we had told them that we have another location that has 3 Mbps. They told us to go in on a specific date to check the internet speed. So we did go in on that day and the internet speed was good. 2 weeks after moving in, our development work started, and we realized that at best we get 7 kbps, and at times Bytes of internet connectivity, and many times, not connectivity. When we brought this up to the sales agent Naman Sehgal and the center manager Saurabh Sharma, we were ignored, until we called the US billing dept. There we were bounced around from one supervisor to another.

Until finally we were able to get a hold of Kathy Cronin, the director of US operations after 2 weeks of trying to get help! At this point she introduced us to Rahul Waila, and we were told that he is the decision maker, and that he is sent an email and he will contact us back. 48 hours later, after not receiving any calls, we called Rahul Walia, we were told by him, that he is not the decision maker and that we have to talk to his supervisor who is the decision maker, Medhusudan Thakur. We had learned our lesson by now! Called and asked to talk to the decision maker. Ms. Cronin guided us to Michael Ormiston, the head of operations Asia. This guy was the biggest scammer of them all. On the phone, while he was on the speaker phone with 3 of us, he told us that he is sorry, and that we had gotten the short end of the stick and he is very sorry, and that he understand that we want to leave. He said that he wants to do whatever it takes for us to stay. After he found out the amount of damage that we had suffered in these 20 days, he offered 2 months free rent, and upgraded dedicated internet connection.

Meanwhile that morning, the Elegance center's internet had gone down completely! I told him that we have to double check and make sure we get the proper internet connection at all time, since our business is dependent on proper internet connection. He offered it to us to try it for a couple of weeks. We agreed on us leaving on good terms, thinking about his offer and if we want to accept this offer, we will let him know in 24 hours. And we set up the call for 24 hours. We agreed that if we want to resign, we would have to draft a whole new contract. We sent an email confirming this conversation (fortunately) immediately after the talk. We received an email from him stating that he had never agree to anything and only offered 2 weeks free, and no other things and he did not agree to termination of the contract! These guys just lie in your face and turn around and want to trick you into signing. I am not sure how they sleep at nights. These guys have caused major damage to us. Beware of REGUS and all these individuals. They move along this company obviously because they match the style of the company. They just pass on the buck to the next person, and no one wants to help. No one takes responsibility and they just drag you around until you give up. Good luck if you have a problem and want to have someone to help you.
