Having dealt directly with several realtors at this office, I have the greatest respect for the honesty and integrity of the firm. I have only disdain for a person who would anonymously make the type of statements in this Ripoff Report. I am happy to read that they have been able to identify the person from his/her IP address. I urge them to prosecute the offender to the fullest extent.

I have used ReMax By The Lake several times for buying and selling homes in the area. All experiences were carried out with high integrity, fairness, honestly and timely with the highest degree of professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend the agency and its employees to anyone. People who file reports anonymously as did the instigator of this thread have always been suspicious to me. Just an update on the investigation of the person who wrote these slanderous and extremely damaging accusations. Our corporate "web wizards" have identified the IP address of the computer used, and the individual's web identity, which has been given to the Federal, International, and local authorities. We know who you are, and you will be hearing from us. Again, if anyone reading these responses, wants to talk to ANYONE in this office, please call. We are a very well known, reputable real estate company, with the most professional, highly educated and designated agents in the area. Please contact your personal real estate professional, ask them about us. We have excellent reputations. Ironically, the person who is suspected of writing the original slanderous statements, is also known in the community, and in fact, is in the process of defending felony charges filed by former partners. It will not be long before they will be paying for their mistakes in prison!

We have purchased two homes, and sold one by using RE/MAX By The Lake. Both of our agents were great to work with, as they were a team and worked hard to find the home of our dreams. They were even there for the final walk-through, the home inspection, the signing at the title company and the moving in process. They were thorough and made sure that we were satisfied through all the transactions. The office of RE/MAX By The Lake was great with setting up showings, processing the paperwork and providing answers quickly and honestly. We have referred several of our friends and family to work with this office and believe they have been very happy and successful in the sale or purchase of their new homes. They presented every offer, all documentation was clear and straightforward and kept us current on any issues constantly. We appreciate their honesty, hard work and integrity and will be requesting their services when we are ready to purchase again.

There are no shady deals going down here. Maybe that is why some unscrupulous agents have been asked to leave our office. Karen and John are not willing to put up with that. They are respected in the community, their church and in this office. I have worked at another real estate office prior to being here, and saw too much dishonest business. John has a wonderful non-profit organization called ElderHelp of North Idaho. Their mission is to assist senior citizens with safety issues, so that they may live in their homes as long as they choose. ElderHelp is funded through private contributions and their motto is Being a Blessing on Purpose. They help with food, firewood, handicap ramps and so much more. Now, does that sound like the Corcoran's are a rip off to you? I didn't think so.

Unsigned and blatant lies...I am a perfectionist, a professional, and an excellent employer...I have had the same permenant employees for over 4-5 years each. Please, again feel free to call anyone who works here. Our two telephone numbers are 765-1222 or 762-3950. I do not use inappropriate language, and have never thrown money at anyone. What a joke. This site is under investigation by REMAX International's corporate attorneys, and our corporate attorneys, to have the maker of these false statements assume responsbility for their comments. I will make sure to have them prosecuted to full extent of Federal & Interntional law!!

I don't work for Karen any more thank god, I had to go and find a real job. The kind that respected me at the work place and paid me on time. "Karen Never Ever DID" Good luck getting your money out of Karen she is known around town for hiding form her creditors, not paying her franchise fees, ripping her agents off, and smiling all the way to the bank. I'm more than sure she did whatever shes going down for. As for the other agents I can't say because I didn't with them as much. In fact I had to run around town looking for Karen who tried her best to make her self unavailable just to get her to sign a check for the last little bit of money she owed me for my paycheck. I also remember another situation where a vendor came into the office and asked Karen for money owed on a past invoice, she exploded at the vendor and threw a bunch of change and one dollar bills at his feet telling him to, " take the money and get the Fu**k out of the office." So it is disappointing to find this post for a local business, however in life all the cheating and lies wont get you anywhere. If Karen spent half the time she did ripping people off actually building trust and relationships she wouldn't have this problem now would she.

This is a hoax. The accusations are completely untrue and slanderous. The person who wrote it would not even sign their name? The person who emailed it to one of our agents said that they wanted to list a property but saw this report? I have looked up that name in the county records, and no one by that name owns property here. I imagine that this is written by a competitor who has an "axe to grind" with us, because we are a successful company, or just a plain wacko who knows someone in our office and thinks this sort of thing is funny. Sad, but true that there are people like this. The terminology used, the names of the agents, and other small nuiances are real estate related. Unfortunately, the culprit does not have to validate the information, but I have to defend my company and staff. If anyone has a doubt about our company, or our agents, please contact the Idaho Real Estate Commission. The records are public and there are NONE on file against us! This is a completely false report, and needs to be removed.
