Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I went in to buy a 4x4 truck to actually be able to get out into the desert to the place where my dad wanted his ashes spread. I told Charles Nied this detail and informed him that I'm not in a very stable mindset and him and his manager stated that "they understand as the owners just lost their mother and that they'll give me a fair deal and take extra good care of me". Wow, was I a vulnerable idiot!!! I paid "CASH", literally!!! After the deal was over and the smoke cleared a few weeks later, I realized that the sticker price they told me they'd honor actually wasn't. The price on the sticker was $36,000 and change, but the starting amount on my paperwork was over $40,000.00!!!! I got screwed for over $4,000.00 right off the bat, not to mention that my traded 2003 Camry with 60,000 miles was swallowed up also. Now I realize that I shouldn't have made a deal in that state of mind, but you have to remember, that I was only buying a 4x4 in order to take my brothers/family into the Smoke Creek Area in the desert to spread my father's ashes, it's not like I went in their drunk or something!!! These people knew what I was going through and screwed me for the $4,000.00 plus my trade, so I lost over $8,0000.00 on the deal or more!!

I pray that God will remember what they've done and that people who read this will know who RENO TOYOTA REALLY IS, behind the fake smiles, cute commercials and hand shakes and will choose to go to "ANY OTHER" Dealer but them!!! I'm hoping something happens that will teach them a "LASTING LESSON"!!!

"Now I realize that I shouldn't have made a deal in that state of mind, but you have to remember, that I was only buying a 4x4 in order to take my brothers/family into the Smoke Creek Area in the desert to spread my father's ashes,...." Lets parse this out: 1. OK, you know you shoud have waited until you were in a better state of mind before you entered into a purchase.... 2. You could have RENTED a 4X4 for your one-day mission.... 3. Your father would not have minded waiting until you had calmed down... would he? 4. Your brothers/family also would probably have been patient..... 5. The ashes weren't going to spoil...... 6. Car salesmen must be like preditors just to survive.... they strike when they sense any weakness. I was out riding a road bike one day in 1988, and a woman passed me & then immediately turned right, right in front of me which cut me off .... she d**n near ran me over. She was turning to visit her mother's grave & was upset. Hey- her mother was ALREADY dead and buried, meaning there was no excuse for her doing something that could put me in the same state! This is analogous to your situation.. An occurance that is past and done and cannot be undone is no excuse for careless actions.
