Renova Flooring, Patrick Kovacs, Lombardia Properties Delayed work (3 months), damaged property and didn't finish the job. Dallas Texas
Patrick Kovacs was hired to install carpet and hardwoods. A check for the entire amount of the job was provided upfront in January of 2016. Most of the job was completed in April. The job should have taken no longer than three to five days total. There was more damage to the property than what the job cost. Tile was broken, the entire house had just been painted and we had to go back to every single room and repair baseboard damage or paint the walls.
We specifically discussed putting quarter round in and that was never done. Approximately $600 in materials I had to buy and have installed. He offered me under $30 labor to install around 200 feet of molding/quarter round. Patrick is convinced that I am the person at fault. He has claimed that he has made offers that were reasonable, but I have not received them. I have no less than $6000 of work related damages and items not done

He has claimed that he has made offers that were reasonable, but I have not received them. He has promised that he would have his attorney draft a settlement agreement and I have not seen anything. I have no less than $6000 of work related damages and items not done in the property and I made an offer of $2500 to settle this and move on.
He had the nerve to say this is my MO to try and rip contractors off. This is my very first vendor in 26 years of doing renovations under my company name that I have reported on any website. I've renovated more than 5000+ properties in 30 years and this individual is convinced he has done nothing wrong. I've sent pictures, sent emails and he has ignored them.
His contractors are not equipped properly to do the job and don't have the right tools. They asked to use my tools.
I recorded every conversation and even once I provided the recordings of the agreements made on the phone and he still thinks I am trying to take advantage. I will add more information about this case soon.
