WLI Reservation rewards Charged my bank account $7.00 political corruption victimized many consumers Internet Internet
I found a $7.00 charge on my bank statement that I couldn't identify so I started searching for WLI reservation rewards on google. I found many similar reports. I called the number mentioned by several consumers 1-888-688-5995 and got a long menu of choices.
I chose to go to their website www.reservationrewards.com I didn't recognize the site as one I have used but I signed in anyway to find out what my password was. It was something that I would never had thought up because it was too hard to remember. Their member "profile" on me only had my address. The site had a cancel membership option which I chose and supposedly they will send me a $7.00 refund.
I think they are counting on a lot of people not carefully checking their credit card or bank statements. I will let you know if I get my refund. I love to shop online. I hope this is not a trend but I will keep my eyes open!

First I hope that you have changed your bank statement account number by now. Now if you shop online again at certain sites, this still may happen again, even with your new account number. Whenever you purchase a product, that number will automatically be given out, to whatever 2nd or 3rd party merchant is linked to the give online shopping site. If you want to prevent this in the future, review the online shopping site "Privacy Policy". If they say, they would like to customize your shopping experience, there is a strong possibility,they are giving out your personal information. If you have favorite places, bookmarked email the webmaster of that site to see, if you can opt out of that feature. www.reservationrewards.com is not the only one, so this means, you may have to go through this all over again, depending on where you shop. Be careful out there, and let us know how that refund turns out. :)
