Resolutions Center Multiple sales personell pressured me into authorizing a $1999.00 charge to my credit card on the promise that they would lower my card interest rates. Ococee Florida
I was contacted by Resolutions Center on 9/25/08 and was initially interested in what they had to offer. After expressing my distrust and skepticism they transferred me to a different sales person. When I continued to resist they continually transferred me to another "supervisor". After nearly 2 hours (I should have just hung up the phone), and upon the "Guarantee" that they would save me at least $5000.00 and that I could cancel my participation at any time; I agreed to the charge.
I was contacted a few hours later to let me know that my package was being shipped via registered mail. I recieved the package on 9/29/08, When I opened it there was an invoice marked paid, however there was no amount shown anywhere. There was also a welcome letter and a step by step instruction sheet along with several questionaires requiring very private financial details. When I recieved the package was the first time I knew the name of the company.
After checking I found an awful lot of negative information about the company and decided I REALLY did not want anything to do with them. On 9/30/08 I contacted my credit card company (Bank of America), they informed me that they could not simply reverse the charge, that I must call the "merchant" for a refund. When I called Resolutions Center I was placed repeatedly on hold and the Rep, "Miguel" would return with yet another reason to delay.
When I finally and firmly insisted on the return of my money he agreed but said it would take 30 to 45 business days to process the return. I informed him that was simply unacceptable and that I was going to call my credit card company at which time he angrily replied that "would only make it take longer"..
I will be contacting Bank of America again, hopefully the will be more helpful this time.
