I was contact continously by a representative of REM and told that they could gurantee selling my time share for $800 Nov. 2006. I was able to talk them down to $600 and I advised them that I was skeptical about dealing with companies like this because I had already spent money with the Time Share register. The one that Ed Mcmahnn promotes. What another ripoff. Of course the time share did not sell and my property was taken off the site after 90 days becuase I did not renew it. I have since renewed it, but there should be a law against what companies do to people.

RESORT EQUITY MARKETING (REM) TRIED TO RIP ME OFF, BUT I WAS TOO SUSPICIOUS!

This company is insane! Did they think I would not go to the Orlando BBB and look them up! I think they tried to use reverse psychology, if they tell you to call, maybe you won't (fat chance!) This company called me after I brought my timeshare, which was several months ago. They do not do their homework because they asked me about selling my timeshare and it's not even ready yet! The condo's from Westgate won't be ready until 2010! Well, that's what got me suspicious in the first place. I was reading some of the comments and I see the price for them marketing your timeshares or selling it went from $695, to $800, well my price was $899! My problem is this is what I pay them to sell or rent my timeshare?? This didn't seem right in the first place. So I tell them I don't anything until I check them out with all the scams people are running these days and they throw out all these phone numbers and the one for this site. I say goodbye to the agent, Jodi Needle, and about 2 hours go by and I get a call from the supervisor, she's really got to have my timeshare for rental for a convention in Orlando which starts next week and it just so happens all they need is my studio! Not only that, they lower the price for me just this time to $450 for this month and I just need to pay the other $450 next month and if I don't take this deal now the price is back to $899! I still don't bite because I really check out companies thoroughly before I do a deal involving big money! So they tell me the price goes back up to $899 and I lost out! Well, it looks like they lost out and a warning to anyone reading this message, don't be guliable when some fly-by-night company you never heard of offers you a deal that sounds TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! Because 99.9 times it isn't! Good luck out there among the wolves because we will all need it now in this time of recession! Everyone's after your money! SA
