*********CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!************

This "company" owned and operated by one of the country's biggest SCAM artists screws not only consumers, timeshare owners, but it also screws its employees out of money!!!! First off, they recruit unintelligent, underqualified individuals to call innocent timeshare owners using leads. They talk consumers into providing their credit card numbers and selling bogus "for sale" ads to sell or rent out their timeshares. They charge "packages" starting at $299 up to $2400+. Once billed, they send the consumer a package to sign and return in order to list the ad. This company has been sued in a class action lawsuit in Florida and have no relocated to El Cajon California operating under several different fictitious business names:

Resort Equity Marketing

www.VacationTree.com

www.bestresortrentalandsale.com

and Timeshare Rent or Sale

THIS IS BY FAR THE BIGGEST SCAM SO BEWARE!!!! I am also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau because it seems as if everytime they are reported they create a new fictituous business name to continue their illegal operations!!!!

Their corporate is:

1685 E. Main St. Ste 201

El Cajon CA 92020

888-981-8733

Then, they scam their "marketing/sales" employees(who have no idea what scam ring the owner is operating) by promising them hourly + commission. They soon find out after making sales, its hourly vs. commission on 1099, "independent contracting". In order to not have to pay taxes on its employees, they pay illegal wages and also charge a 3% "reserve" out of each paycheck. WOW!!!! it gets even better!

ALOT OF THESE POOR EMPLOYEES NEVER EVEN SEE A PAYCHECK AND ARE FORCED TO LEAVE QUIETLY AFTER BEING THREATENED BY THE OWNERS/SCAMMER'S "LEGAL TEAM"!!!!!!!!!! and the few that do see a final paycheck, see nickles and dimes (to keep their mouth shut about the operation)

These people think everyone is too uneducated and inexperienced to know and report their illegal SCAM ring until now......

I will be assisting SEVERAL ex-employees file numerous claims and potentially a class action lawsuit against this fraudulent company....with the help of a very experienced REAL LEGAL TEAM!

I worked for 'Resort rent or sale' for three days until I found out the manager Jeff wears a bullet proof vest. (I thought it was a brace), but after talking to Crystal at their front desk, she told me he wears it because of all the disgruntled ex-employees that had been let go. I soon asked for my pay check, which I havn't recieved yet (Go fig.) And quite. They keep these guys that just get out of prison on the pay roll to take the brunt of the ex-employees from coming through the front door. I've witnessed this.

These are bad people!!! I don't know why consumer affairs hasn't put these people out of business? Stay clear of this business and these people, they are dangerous!!!

Oh, they've moved their new address is: 833 Broadway El Cajon CA. 92020

I'm sure the representation in defense of this post is part of Rob's "legal team"??? Nick and Rob used to work at the scam ring in Fla but when that business went under fire, they fled to CA and started their version of the exact scam!  Cyndi_g has NEVER, I repeat NEVER been employed by any of these businesses! the proof is all there....

TO ANY POTENTIAL OR CURRENT INNOCENT CLIENTS:

Call and follow up on any "listings"....see what happens for yourself.  But wait about a month or two after any of these places has already charged your credit cards...then feel free to contact legal advise or join the pending lawsuit that is in the beginning stages of documentation preparation....the more clients, the better!

FYI to the "legal team" - there is a current employee working from the inside ;-D

There have been many unsatisfied customers, seeing as though you look at the website and there are thousands listed.  How many of them have been rented and/or sold???  The rented/sold numbers on the website, www.bestresortrentalandsale.com, lie to you!  Those are gold star members who will receive a $100 check just so they don't get a refund because they got somebody to "rent" their property.  If you check out the BBB rating, Vacation Tree was revoked in September because the business failed to comply with agreed BBB standards:  build trust and embody integrity.  Timeshare Rent or Sell is an "F" rating and has also been revoked in August due to violation of BBB accreditation standards:  be transparent and tell the truth.  What does that tell you about a company?  Too many complaints and the company won't do anything for their clients other than take their money and run.  Maybe if you tell the truth from the beginning, there wouldn't be so many unhappy clients.

bestresortrentalandsale.com' Rebuttal of Report #463748 by

This document is submitted in rebuttal of RipOffReport.com Report: #463748 submitted by "Cyndi_g" of Santee,CA. This document is being submitted on behalf of BestResortRentalAndSale.com and TimeShareRentOrSell Com and ONLY BestResortRentalAndSale.com and TimeShareRentOrSell Com.

The Report submitted by Cyndi_g is inaccurate for many reasons the first of which is her written assumption that the four (4) different companies listed in the title (Resort Equity Marketing, Vacation Tree, TimeShareRentOrSell Com and BestResortRentalAndSale.com) are owned by the same person and/or persons.A simple Online check at the websites for The Secretary of State for their respective states of Fla and Ca and BBB listing and ARDA membership will reveal that R.E.M. (aka Resort Equity Marketing), Vacation Tree and Timesharerentorsell com/BestResortRentalAndSale.com are and have always been owned by completely different people on opposite coasts with no long-term business and/or personal association.

The inflamatory title of her complaint goes on to accuse us (and the other two named companies) of, and I quote:"...Consumer and potential marketing/sales recruits beware of shady, fraud company trying to "buy/sale" timeshares!! THIS IS A SCAM TO GET YOUR CREDIT CARD #'S AND MONEY!!...

These allegations are completely unfounded falsehoods! We are a legitimate "For Sale or Rent by Owner" Timeshare and Vacation Property listing company and site, supported by thousands of clients with over a hundred new listing every month. We advertise our website and it's listings in National Newspapers (in print and Online), with Local Market Cable Television Commercials as well as through the use of industry standard SEO and Analyctics integration. Her throwing around of the term "Fraud" without an actual example or some sort of proof or documentation is, in itself, misrepresentational.

The actual content of her "report" is even more inaccurate than the overly-sensationalized title.
1.Neither TimeShareRentOrSell Com NOR BestResortRentalAndSale.com has EVER been involved in or part of     a Class Action Suit, period.
2.BestResortRentalAndSale.com and TimeShareRentOrSell Com have NEVER been owned by any other than the   current owners and those owners have NEVER CHANGED or ALTERED it's name for ANY reason, legal or otherwise.
3.Our employees are NOT and I quote again: the "...unintelligent, underqualified individuals ..." Cyndi_g says they are. They are all well trained and put through a rigourous screening process which they are made aware of during new employee orientation. Her statement is WRONG and insulting and for now reason except to add to the 'Drama" of her complaint.
4.Our hiring policies and pay plans easily meet or exceed the standard for our business and industry and are clearly outlined and presented at the time of employment and throughout the training/orientation processThe.
5. The following statement, excerpted from Cydi_g's "report":

ALOT OF THESE POOR EMPLOYEES NEVER EVEN SEE A PAYCHECK AND ARE FORCED TO LEAVE QUIETLY AFTER BEING THREATENED BY THE OWNERS/SCAMMER'S "LEGAL TEAM"!!!!!!!!!! and the few that do see a final paycheck, see nickles and dimes (to keep their mouth shut about the operation)...This statement is unfounded LIE and as such may be considered LIBEL.

It seems to us that Cyndi_g's RipoffReport filing was some sort of "Knee-jerk" reaction to some situation or incident that she went through while in the employ of one of the OTHER companies listed in her complaint. We attempted to track down any complaint/incident report associated with this apparently disgruntled employee but have been unable to find anyone in our records with the name Cyndi_G.

In summary we would simply like to say this:

We have thousands of clients and over 75 employees at BestResortRentalAndSale.com and TimeShareRentOrSell Com and this is the very 1st time any of this has come to our attention. We have always and will always do our very best to provide consumers with an easy, simple, internet-based means to market their Timeshare and/or vacation property for Rent or Sale.

A couple hours ago of July 16, 2009 I completed a statement of facts that I hoped to forward to any law office for them to take action as I feel I have been scammed as well. I had my timeshare posted since March 2009 with vacationtree for rent. Last Tuesday I received a call which essentially offered 2,950 per week (I have two available). The interested company interested was Kodak who was to have something in September and was looking for about 10 weeks and payed the amount noted above. When on the conversation I learned that the person calling represented a relative to vacationtree (bestresorentalandsale) and I told her that I was already listed (in essence the call was to sell me their new offer of $900 with a moneyback guarantee). She proceed to leave a note since customer service was closed at the time of the call so they would call the next day to complete the arrangements for the two weeks. I called rather that waiting for the call and I was surprised by being told that there was nothing on the file nor an offer. As I complained they "started to investigate" and later called me mentioning that it was a mistake. That the "company" was only interested in 1 day! and paying $100, and asked if I was interested. All the warning lights turned on. I felt i was being kind of bribed to drop my case but when that did not happened after some discussion I was to receive another call. Today, July 16 I still wait for a call and when I called myself the investigation was still going and they would call me back. Thats when I decided to lookup "timeshare rent illegal marketing" on the internet and wonder was the first hit. I will not end here and will join in any action against this and any other (probably more than one) that have taken to do this kind of marketing.
