When working for any company you fill out plenty of documents that explain how being an employee works as far as a refund policy or how your commissions are handled. There is no way the company can hold taxes, you filled out a W4 or W9 where YOU told them what tax amount you wanted taken out as per the government. You also sign a form that states your commissions will be held no matter how you became unemployed for a certain period of time. No information is kept a secret unless you neglect to ask for it. This company has been in business for 7 years for a reason and no employee OR CLIENT has been misled. Everything is in writing and is the consumer or employees fault for not reading before signing the document confirming that they understood the information given to them. This is a HUGELY WRONG accusation about our company policies. Resort Equity Marketing sends out certified contracts that explain in full what our company does and no client has had there services not rendered. Many complaints only occur when the client and/or employee fails to read their contract.

Resort Equity Marketing does the best that they can to monitor all of the employees to ensure quality control, and if an employee is caught lying or misrepresenting the service that they offer, that emoployee is terminated. That maybe the case with this ex employee, and that is why they are bitter. I understand that the economy is bad and that good jobs are hard to come by, but unfortunately they do not tolerate that sort of behavior, and they do not encourage lying. If anything your saying is true and your complaint is valid and your an advocate for the truth, why didn't you leave your name so that this issue can be resolved. Why should anyone believe anything that you are saying? If your so honest, so straightforward, and so upright. Why did you work for that company for so long? Your admitting that you willing participated in something that you felt was not right. Your only complaint came after you were terminated, and you are not willing to leave your name to rectify your 1099 issues. What you left out in your dudious complaint is the fact that you received a 1099 because you were paid bonuses that were not taxed. Are you trying to avoid paying taxes on income that you earned, because I am sure the IRS would be interested in speaking with you, and they will not tolerate your lies. So please take responsibility for the income that you earned and take responsibility of your false complaint and leave your name. I hope that you read the disclaimer that you agreed to before submitting your complaint. The truth is I worked for Resort Equity Marketing for over 6 years and they have never ripped anyone off. Especially not their employees. I have read many of the reports on this site about resort equity marketing and I have never felt compelled to respond to any complaint until today. This complaint is completely false and misleading. If any employee has a problem, Resort Equity Marketing has always helped them in anyway possible. Even to the point of giving people loans to help pay their rent, electric bill, child care or whatever the need was at the time. Absolutely no employee in there good conscience can honestly and truthfully say that Resort Equity Marketing ever did anything unbecoming or inappropriate. I do not know why this employee is choosing to attack this company but it is completely unmerited and I invite them to stop by the office and speak with any of the managers. The beautiful thing about America is that anyone can say anything about anyone without any repercussion. It is a right that we are all entitled to, but sometimes that right is taken to the extreme and this is one of those cases.
