Resumedoctor.com Ripoff, Dishonest, Unprofessional, Greedy, They Just Want Your Money South Burlington Vermont
ResumeDoctor.com is considered the most respected authority on resumes and today's job market. That's a load of crap. It starts off all innocently. They allow you to submit your resume to their team of "experts" and they tell you what's wrong with your resume. A few days later I got a reply from them telling me that my resume needed a little work. According to the Resume Doctor the font size I used was too small and the margins I used were not appropriate either. They then volunteered to fix these problems if I signed up for their full service which cost $199 !!! When I replied saying that I wasn't going to pay for their full service because I felt I can fix whatever problems on my own.
A Few Days Later the President of ResumeDoctor.com, Mike Worthington, personally emailed me and sent me a list of testimonials from customers mainstream news sources that he was featured on to which I replied calling him a hypocrite and saying that I didn't care where he was featured in because I wasn't interested. A few days later Mr. Wortington replied and told me that I wasn't smart enough to fix my resume on my own and because I wasn't willing to listen to them I would never be able to find the job that I wanted to.
After that I finally agreed to let them re-write my resume. They claimed that they would get in touch with you and interview you. I never received a call from anybody associated with Resumedoctor.com and two weeks later when I recieved my "new and improved" resume it looked like crap. They mispelled my name, left off places that I worked and contained numerous grammatical errors. I paid 200 Bucks for this ???
