Richard Fleming - Ric, Vincent, "Victor, & R.Vincent Fleming HE RIPPED ME OFF FOR $18,000 AND THAT'S NOT THE HALF OF IT. Greensboro North Carolina & Tampa Florida
I met this man on the INTERNET! WATCHOUT!
I met him last April 2007.
At first it was great. He wined and dined me and used all the courtesies a man would use.
My first RED FLAG should have been when he kept making excuses for me NOT to come to his home/place in Orlando. He always had an excuse for why he needed to be in Tampa. I do believe there was someone else he was living with then and he was looking for another SUGAR MAMA.
When he finally moved in my house with me in Land O Lakes Florida (Tampa) in December of 2008 I began paying ALL the rent, ALL the utilities, and covered about everything else of his bills. He talked me into letting him be on my Verizon cell account. That cost me a bill of about $400 to have him terminated. He wouldn't pay his bill and getting money out of him caused many arguments. He tried to get onto my State Farm Insurance and as soon as his payment was going to be taken out of my bank account I stopped it immediately!
Then he asked me to sign for him to have his teeth cosmetically reconstructed. I really didn't like the way his teeth looked anyway so I thought maybe it would make him look more attractive to me (IT DIDN'T).
I never thought in this world I would get scammed. It cost me $18,000 and I even had him sign a separate promissary note to me no matter if we broke up or not that he would still continue to have him be responsible and reliable to keep making those $533.00 a month payments to Capital One Healthcare Finance. If there are any ATTORNEYS or PEOPLE with this experience out there I could use some some financial advice to lead me into the right direction, I WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL.
About 3 months ago he stopped paying those monthly payments and kept making excuses as to how the check got lost, or he sent it to a different address, etc. I told him to stop payment on the checks and just write a new one. He lied and told me he did.
Then he decides to talk me into moving to Greensboro NC within a matter of a month. He kept telling me there were better people there and he needed a change from Florida after being here 14 years.
He wanted to get back into selling Health and Life Insurance in NC. He would need to get his License here in the sate of North Carolina. Don't you have to be bonded? I thought you could never have an arrest report or oher legal reports. Maybe I'm wrong.
Well, from reading all the other RIPOFF REPORTS now I know all his little scams (under his name) were catching up to him because clients were calling my house in florida and telling me that he was taking checks from and cashing them that day and then they'd never see him again or would have any website work done. I was soooooooooo MAD! I kept after him and he was getting nasty towards him because I wanted him to do the right thing.
It is humiliating to have the name "FLEMING". We were married 2-14-08 and he told a judge yesterday that I was retaliating against him because he knew that I knew he was surfing the INTERNET FOR OTHER WOMEN. I REALLY HAD NO IDEA THAT THAT WAS WHAT HE WAS DOING; but it didn't surprise me in the least. I guess I got some kind of "RELIEF" from knowing that he wouldn't ever touch me again. Actually, on our honeymoon night when we went on a cruise (which I had paid for again) we never consumated the marriage. There was something in my "GUT" that told me not to let him touch me. Our intimate life came to a halt afte February 2008.
He told me once that we had moved to NC that I would feel differently about things. "WELL, I HAVEN'T"! Except for the part that I had him arrested and evicted from the apartment on July 27th 2008 and I had also filed a 50B or what you would call a :Protection from Abuse.
Yes, I finally had enough of all the emotional and physical abuse, besides this thing you call a "MAN" that spongued off of me for my money.
Watch out for the lines that he was an ex-football player for the Atlanta Falcons, he has $100,000 in the Cayman Island Bank, and he sold his business last year and put the money in an eight year CD. NICE TRY RIC!
also he will tell you such sad sad stories about how he was kicked out of his home at age 16 and had a hard life. He is good at making you feel sorry for him and wanting to try to help him and after arguments you will take him back because you look at him like a sad puppy. That is his MO after he charms you for a few dates.
If you meet up with this man "RUN" he is still married. In the state of NC you have to be seperated for at least 1 year before filing for the divorce. Don't worry, I'm working on that. SO LADIES, IF YOU THINK HE IS SUCH A CATCH, GO FOR IT! With my Blessings! Just watch out for the the Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde side of him. Don't get him mad by not doing or saying what he wants because your whole world and life that you made for yourself will turn upside down. Watch your bank account and don't pay the bills! Only your own.
We have more legal issues to work out in court next week and then hopefully I can continue on with my "NEW" life and find happiness and look at this situation as a "DREAM NIGHTMARE.
I recently received my settlement from a 2 year ago accident so I will be cleaning up all the bills accept his Dental Loan. That is his and if anyone would like to give me some advive Professionally or as a friend please write me. I would look forward to more stories if this man has been in you life also.

My new life is I have been offered several jobs as a nurse (I have my teporary Nurse license), I got my settlement I was owed and I'm out of debt, accept for his Dental bill. Maybe someone will advice me before I see an ATTY. I am taking a vacation soon to Vegas, I have a new roommate who is wonderful, I live in a wonderful Apt complex, I have people who know my situation and watch out for my safety, and the people in NC have become my friends. I have met so many new people and I am beginning to start my life all over again accept with a smile on my face. :)
